Pros

Filestream integrates perfectly with Windows Explorer. I LOVE that I can access files on my computer that are on the shared drive in the same way I would access a file in MyDocuments.
Overall I am pleased with drive. It is user friendly and being someone who is not tech savvy it is nice to be able to use without having to contact support.
Overall, I am very happy with Google Drive. It is a good investment when backing up your files.

Pros

Quick synching and the ability to organise folders and sub-folders is great. Overall, a decent program and certainly useful for small businesses such as myself.
What I like best about this software is its ease of use and integration with Microsoft products and services.
This allow my team members files to be in its own "space" and this was a good thing. This was what I liked about the OneDrive but.

Cons

There isn't much I don't like about google drive. The offline work can be a little tricky at times and I have lost a few sentences due to this feature.
There is some frustration for lack of support for older devices which sometimes are just used for storage themselves.
Furthermore, it seems to keeps failing to sync a specific type of file (.suo , a Visual Studio related file) which however is only just a bit annoying and does not cause any trouble.

Cons

OneDrive has changed in 2021 and this change has brought about headache for all. No syncing because the OneDrive is locked and awaiting action by users who has no idea as to what is wrong.
Where do I begin, it constant instability, it is very hard to use use, sharing process and access permission are coming from hell and the version control is simply sadistic.
The most problem I have as a user is the sync problem, sometimes it gets stuck and you have to restart your computer.

Neutral

Reviewed 5 years ago

As noted in what I liked least, I didn't find it as intuitive as Google Drive. The Word docs and Excel sheets have live editing available, but the features for Excel specifically didn't seem to carry over when it came to formulas. Again, this could be user error or just a noob making a mistake, but I didn't care for this as much as I like Google Drive.

Pros

Having one place to store documents and share items with team members is always a great tool to take advantage of.

Cons

OneDrive didn't seem as intuitive to me as Google Drive does. Granted, I am fairly new to OneDrive and used it for my master's program for group projects, but I prefer Google Drive over OneDrive.

My Experience with Google Drive

Reviewed 2 years ago

Better than OneDrive that's for sure.

Pros

It is accessible through mobile phones. Easy to use especially since it is integrated with Gmail. File sharing is made easy especially for gmail users. Being able to store large files is great also.

Cons

The only issue that I have encountered with Google Drive is in the organization of files. It can be confusing sometimes when you're looking for a specific file that you need or want.

Pros

The web interface is head and shoulders above OneDrive. The sharing is easier as well. The upload speeds don't feel arbitrarily slow like OneDrive does. Great search functionality as well-- OneDrive always struggled in that area for me.

Cons

Google Drive is a superior feature than Onedrive. Google Drive can sync solely Onedrive. Onedirve does not have a feature for synronising other servers.

Pros

Google drive is iedal for hotos. It takes every shot in your mobile phone.

Cons

Google does not have any email software like Outlook. Google contacts are not in full coverage like in Outlook contactb. Google contacts only cover name, surname, mobile phone. Hwever, Notes are not syced as in Microsft Exchange. Microsoft Exchange is better than Google Exchange. You may save the CV of any contact in Microsoft Exchange contact vcf car. Hwever , you cannot save a CV contact card in Google Exchange.

Google Drive is great, affordable backup software

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

Easy to use software. Basic setup and configuration. It's available on a lot of devices. It's easy to share with other gmail users. The cost is affordable.

Cons

OneDrive has a lot more bells and whistles. There are different versions of documents with OneDrive and detailed information is sometimes not apparent. The ability to work with other software is great, but OneDrive works very well an Office 365 license.

It's Okay But This One Time Microsoft Wins The Race

Reviewed 2 years ago

Sometime I have a special project that I am working on, something separate from my main job and my personal life. Google Drive allows me to keep this work separate. But it's always a second option, never the primary one.

Pros

Cons

It's redundant and doesn't do anything that Microsoft OneDrive doesn't do.

Easy to use Small Business Cloud Storage and Collaborative Productivity software

Reviewed 6 years ago

All my employees have enjoyed our switch from OneDrive to Google Drive for cloud storage and collaboration on Office documents. They run into less crashes and real-time saving issues than they did with OneDrive.

Pros

For a free service that provides nearly the entire microsoft office suite of programs, and is still compatible across platforms when downloading copies of files made through Google Drive, it's the best value cloud storage and collaborative outlet you can find. Uploading files from our Android devices to this cloud of super fast and easy as well.

Cons

If they could provide even more free storage space it would be a nice bonus, but they still provide a fair amount. Their Google Sheets software doesn't quite have as many of the capabilities of Microsoft's Excel but does manage to get the job done.

For business purposes and confidentiality, one drive works and does a great job.

Pros

It's basically google drive but for microsoft. For a business setting and microsoft integration one drive is very useful.

Cons

It's not as easy to use as google drive. Google drive has so much support and it is very refined. For example you have to upload your docs to the one drive for automatic saving to be active. Google drive does it automatically.

Just get google drive

Reviewed 6 years ago

get the google drive

Pros

this product works well enough as a file cabinet for your stuff, and if you don't need anything I'm pretty sure it is free

Cons

Microsoft is just trying to copy everyone else, with an inferior product. also not very user friendly. Also you have to have a Microsoft computer.

Onedrive is great but...

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

I like onedrive, but it costs more for storage than google drive and it seems to be a little slower than google drive. It is better, however, than dropbox and box. Aside from when your work is fully integrated in outlook and Microsoft I don't know why you would use onedrive over google drive

Cons

Cumbersome and slower than google drive.

Onedrive needs work...

Just use google drive.

Pros

Onedrive does everything that a cloud storage service should, technically

Cons

Software is slow, clogs up your computer since it runs in the background all day, sharing is buggy, collaboration is way too difficult.

Ok but not amazing

Reviewed 5 years ago

It works and that is great but after using drive it’s hard to downgrade.

Pros

I like that the software is easily installed on most devices. Haven’t ever had a problem with that.

Cons

I wish it would integrate as easily as google drive. I started with google drive then created a one drive with my email but just doesn’t perform as well.

An Average Drive Solution

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

OneDrive offers reasonable prices on premium storage, and they integrate well for businesses that already use Outlook, Skype, Office, and other Microsoft programs. I also find OneDrive to be a tad more intuitive to navigate than Google Drive.

Cons

OneDrive only offers 5gb of free storage, whereas Google Drive offers 15. It's also not nearly as widely utilized as Google Drive and doesn't offer the suite of features integrated with Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.). Sharing is not as seamless as other drive sites. Our company has fully switched from Outlook and OneDrive to Gmail and Google Drive.

OneDrive is good, but I prefer Google Drive

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

OneDrive is good and was the first cloud storage software I used, but as I migrated to Google Drive, I found I definitely preferred that. But if you need cloud storage and you use Microsoft products, OneDrive is definitely a strong contender.

Cons

I find Google Drive more intuitive and easier to share documents. It's also easier to connect to Google Drive from an app.

Keep University Docs, files stored

Pros

It could keep all of my files for school in one place and allow me to use my personal Google drive for other things

Cons

I would sometimes forget where I would store a file. Either on my flash drive, one drive, google drive.

Onedrive review

Reviewed 4 years ago
Pros

I like the look of it, ease of use, and then amount of storage that is free. The ability to share is also super easy and effective.

Cons

The only thing is probably that it's not as marketable as Google drive is so most people use Google drive rather than onedrive.
