Easy to use and great features

2018-11-25

Pros

Word, Excel and powerpoint are the best in class. Google suite doesn't match the depth of features that the office suite provides.

Cons

It's slower and more buggy than the g suite, although it has many more features.

A worse G Suite

2019-01-19

Much prefer G Suite for collaboration and snapiness in the cloud, or desktop Office for heavy lifting.

Pros

Compatibility for MS Office documents in the cloud is nice to have, we have access to 365 via our Office licenses and use it sporadically when browser-based is our only option.

Cons

Missing the capabilities of G Suite for collaboration and runs sluggish comparatively.

All the Familiar Office Products and More

2019-04-25

Pros

While arguably more clunky compared to the minimal and clean interfaces of G Suite, Office makes good use of the extra UI space through a Quick Access toolbars and more features compared to its competitors.

Cons

Real-time editing is not as easy compared to competing services like G Suite, which handles collaborative editing in real time with easy drop-in and drop-out.

Great all around package!

2019-04-12

Whether you are making a spreadsheet, preparing for a presentation or writing a report - Office 365 is there and ready for you.

Pros

Office 365 offers Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint in one great package. The value for your money is there and all three programs are powerhouses in their own regard. Onedrive is a growing new feature and differentiates it from the crowd.

Cons

May not use all the functionalities you are paying for and G-Suite is a heavy competitor.

O365

2019-02-19

Pros

To be able to access all the apps/software located in the G-Suite

Cons

The sharing is still inferior to g-suite but the features are better in every other way.

Pros

Definitely the most feature rich software out there especially excel nothing competes still if you are any power user.

Office 365

2019-04-23

Good software that gets the job done, but I prefer G Suite if it were apples to apples.

Pros

Calendar functionality works well. You can seamlessly create events and the steps are limited. Email is reliable. Having the suite of Word, Excel, and PP is the most useful part if you plan includes it.

Cons

Must sign in and out to use different accounts as opposed to working across tabs like G Suite.

Useful, but not the most Polished User experience

2019-01-11

Pros

Ability to save in desktop is a huge advantage over google drive's online-only interface. Better customer service than Google's competition.

Cons

Office 365 seems like a sloppier suite integration in comparison with G suite. Generally, the subscription fees can be high for what you're getting in return.

Only good if you go all the way

2019-04-24

It has taken some getting used to since our company moved to Office 365 from G Suite. It does the job, but was much less than I was looking for.

Pros

Being able to have a cloud based system that links with what most other people use is very helpful.

Cons

If you go with the online only version then you are severely limited in the functionality of things like Excel. If you have only the online version it has less functionality than Google Sheets.

Making improvements

2018-09-10

Office 365 is a good option, maybe even a great option, if you haven't experienced the G Suite world.

Pros

I lived for so long in the Microsoft world, but in the past three years I have been shifting completely over to the G Suite platform (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc.) like most of the world.

Cons

In light of my transition to Google, when I look back to Office 365 here are the cons I see: - It's just big and clunky, not as smooth operating as the G Suite platform - Mobile versions aren't always reliable and they do not have all of the same abilities - Most people really only use the basics that are provided, so over 50% of the features are just extra and in the way

Not a fan

2019-01-26

It’s very complicated and hard to use for non savvy customers of mine. One drive and shared drives are a mess and very cumbersome.

Pros

I’ve been using office for years. As everyone else. This 365 is a grat product. It is super advanced. Very intuitive and very productive.

Cons

Horrible pricing structure. G suite is going to crush this.

Office 365 in an Accounting environment

2019-03-08

When your only real competition is G Suite it,s pretty easy to own the market and just rest on your laurels.

Pros

Word, Excel, and Powerpoint are as good on this version as they've ever been. One drive is getting better and i'm glad there's a link directly to it.

Cons

My one and only issue with the new 365 is the hassle it takes to link gmail accounts to the Outlook program. I'm not sure if that is Google or Microsoft's fault, but it is incredibly difficult to navigate the settings, and security features to link the 2 together. If i wasn't an everyday user and an IT specialist I would never have been able to setup my Gmail account. This version of Outlook seems to have a lot of bugs in it that i hope they can fix.

It's solid, but far behind Office 365

2018-10-20

Pros

Gmail. Gmail is the killer app within G Suite. Most people are familiar with it and comfortable using it. Using labels instead of directories makes searching and managing email easy. There are a number of great Gmail plug-ins and add-ons you can get that will make managing email easier.

Cons

From a business perspective I struggle to understand why you'd choose G Suite over Office 365. I feel like Office 365 is miles ahead and getting better at a faster clip.

A great product at an amazing value

2018-08-07

We moved everyone over to G Suite from our old POP3 email server. Transferring emails from a local file to Gmail was a bit painful and I'm still not done but that's more due to the multiple mail clients I deal with at work and I don't blame Google for that. All in all, an excellent product at an excellent price.

A pretty essential tool for small businesses

2019-01-14

G Suite has always been very reliable and very useful for the small business I work in. It’s very simple to operate and manage, and the learning curve is nonexistent due to the elegant and familiar interface. We do worry about how Google would use our data, but we have confidence in them.

Pros

The ease of use it has. Makes sharing documents and storing files very easy.

Very powerful and scalable, especially for email

2018-02-06

Pros

We have integrated G Suite into both our own business and many others. We primarily use it for domain emails which are the best out there. Integration with other apps in the suite works flawlessly. The whole system has made collaboration easier.

Cons

Sometimes verification during setup can be a bit slow and problematic when compared to Office 365, but this is no dealbreaker.

Excellent office collaboration suite

2019-04-02

Pros

It's well worth paying the premium for G Suite. It makes it easy for us to share all our documents and store them in one place.

Cons

There are some things that Office 365 does better (and that's also a great option), but G Suite works well.

GSuite makes life simpler..

One product suite to do it all.

Pros

As a previous office 365 user and reseller we recently switched to Gsuite.

Cons

Hidden options when administering makes life a little difficult but once all working is set and forget.

Best system for small businesses

2018-12-04

Pros

Used Office 365 for a couple of years before making the switch to G Suite for Business.

Cons

Some basic email, calendar and task management features are missing, or note are: shared mailboxes and recurring tasks. There is a google made plugin to use the gmail account in Microsoft Outlook (desktop) but has bugs is not a efficient as having an exchange account in Outlook.

G Suite - Makes you feel like a Pro!

2019-02-12

We use it daily in cooperation with our Office 365 to make sure we always have what we need.

Pros

Okay, many people and businesses use G Suite already - but many of them do not. So when you roll into a business meeting to close on a potential client - it's fun to pull out all of the stops - grab your files out of thin air - and sync your phone - tablet - and laptop right there in front of the potential client. If they use G Suite - then they expect you to have your stuff together... but if they've never used it - then it makes you look like a pro. Besides that - it's dirt cheap and it makes sure you or your team are never without important files on the go!

Cons

A bit of a learning curve for those that have never used Google Docs - but the really we have no complaints.

A great alternative for your company's email

2018-07-26

Pros

You have your choice of domain and you can manage your users from one particular log in (imagine Microsoft Office 365, but a lot less features).

Cons

Even though there are less features than Microsoft Office 365; the lack of options can sometimes be under whelming.

G Suite Review

2019-03-01

Pros

The G suite compares well with office 365. G suite allows to share and download files.

Cons

The business enterprise can be a bit expensive for small companies but it compares similar to Office 365. So it is probably better to use G suite

A great software suite for your business

2017-11-14

A complete solution for Email Calendaring and Mobile

Pros

This is a complete solution that is tightly integrated. Your email is presented in an intuitive interface familiar to anyone who uses gmail and can also be downloaded into Thunderbird or Outlook if you would rather use those apps. The Calendar Interface is by far the best in the business allowing a wide range of display options as well as notifications and reminders. The admin interface is intuitive and easy to use the most common features are right in front of you and takes very little digging to find what you need. The Docs, Sheets and Presentations applications have the features you need and the collaboration features are second to none. My personal favorite is having multiple editing the same doc in real time at the same time right on screen. This is a total solution that you will not regret choosing for your business

Cons

Shared mailbox integration is not as smooth as with Exchange/Outlook or office 365/Outlook.
