Like Google Drive better

2019-01-19

Handy to have everything in one place and to share with others. Students have relative ease of access.

Pros

Fairly easy to use; everything in one place

Cons

Not quite as user friendly as Google Drive; not as widely used as Google Drive; doesn't come with all of the classroom features that Google has

Office 365?

2019-02-01

Its better than google drive cloud but I'm still upset about the yearly subscription.

Pros

What I didI lose the old disc but now I can just download it from the cloud when I switch computers.

Cons

The cost for one year. The previous version allowed me to keep that version for life but this is a yearly subscription which I find offensive to keep paying for it yearly when before I didn't have to do that.

Not so much better than google drive

2018-11-01

Very nice - if you can afford it!

Pros

It has many useful features. The thing I like most is that I can work from my phone, tablet, or PC - and all versions work great.

Cons

Why should I pay for this if I have Google Drive for free?

All the tools you need in the office.

2019-02-17

My overall experience is positive, it is a reliable and very complete toolkit, I have been using it for many years since university and later in my office work.

Pros

The office 365 package has all the tools to perform office tasks such as spreadsheets, documents, email, cloud and presentations. Also highly recommended for students, with special plans for students according to the educational institution you belong.

Cons

I've always wanted a collaborative work mode in real time like Google drive does.

Very Similar To Google Drive!

2018-12-17

Overall, I would not reccomend Office 365 that highly if your organization is already using Google Drive. Considering that Google Drive is free, I think I'll stick to using that.

Pros

I think that Office 365 is very similar to Google Drive and that's definitely a good thing.

Cons

I think that overall, Google Drive tends to be slightly more preferable compared to Office 365.

Good for Team Collaboration

2018-12-12

Pros

I like that we can collaborate on projects easily, even when some of us are out of the office or not connected to our server. And it has the editing tools we are used to with regular Office products, which is great.

Cons

Microsoft Office... 'Nuff Said.

2018-02-21

Pros

Office 365 (while initially a fan of the subscription pricing) delivers the newest offerings automatically (while the subscription is active). Being able to keep current is a must for me.

Cons

I use Google Drive, and would appreciate the ability to store my files in the sync folder for Google Drive.

Microsoft Team Review

2019-01-01

Pros

I have recently started using this application, it allows you to share documents from multiple sources such as One Note, powepoint and excel in one platform. It allows different users to have access to the same file at the same time.

Cons

It is as food as google drive but with good features such as all the files convert well when you pull the documents back from the platform.

2019-04-05

I have had no issues with Office 365 so far and I have used it for a long time. It's powerpacked and very useful on a daily basis for a normal user like myself.

Pros

It's brilliant. Just the simple fact that includes word, powerpoint, outlook and excell is wonderfull. Those are the basic, most used and known tools for almost every computer user.

Cons

The only thing I din't find that attractive is One Drive as I believe Google Drive is much better.

Microsoft Office is great if you are in school

2018-10-04

Pros

The office programs allow you to be more professional and you do not have to be connected to the internet in order to be able to use them. Whenever we have internet issues at work, it is nice to have the office programs there as a back up that way my students don't have an excuse not to be working.

Cons

Honestly, office programs are just a back up plan now that I use Google Drive on a daily basis.

Good alternative to google sheets for those more comfortable with office

2019-03-05

I've used Office 365 in situations where the features from Google Drive were not enough or I was using files that originated from Office.

Pros

Office 365 is basically Microsoft office but with the online features of Google Drive so it was nice to have the full Office Suite available at all times.

Cons

Compared to Google Drive Office 365 is a bit clunkier to use and share and the interface is less simplistic.

Works perfectly and 99.99% of the time

2018-03-31

We get a lot of services included with outstanding security. May be prices could be a little tighter.

Pros

A lot of space in the cloud with all office apps integrated. Outlook is clean and work very well. We have premium subscription so computer apps are included in the price. Security is also nice and very granular. Skype is outstanding and we use it in daily basis. We also used Yammer and other services that try to mimic Slack, Facebook and Sharepoint but we did not get quite into it...yet.

Cons

There are better options for sharing and collaboration (like Google Drive or Dropbox)

Dominates my usage

2018-08-19

I really like this software, but I do use it a bit less now that I can use google drive. Office has better features, but Google is convenient.

Pros

I've used this software - powerpoint, word and excel - that I know it so well that its become my go to software. I have the most recent version of office, and I really like powerpoint now. Some of the tools have been moved around and thats annoying, but I like the addition of a smart slide design feature.

Cons

I can't complain. I do all my work on this software and I think it gets the job done. I wish there was a better way to recover files or not lose unsaved work. Google has a better solution to this, where everything you do is saved all the time, you dont have to expressly save something.

Incredible bang for your buck

2019-03-06

I love Office 365 and would recommend it to anyone who needs a word processor, presentation maker, publisher app, or note taking app. I use it every single day.

Pros

The versatility and capability of Office 365 have helped me in every application I have used it for, from work to school.

Cons

There have been some issues with the program crashing occasionally, and I wish the software had a better automatic save feature similar to Google Drive.

very basic but good integration with google docs

2018-09-26

Overall good experience, the only other alternative is really office 365.

Pros

This is google for documents ... simple search bar and rudimentary navigation. Get familiar with search since that's going to be the only way to find things. It's good and bad, good in the sense that you don't really need to worry about directory structure, bad in the sense that docs tend to jumble up everywhere. The integration with google docs is the killer feature, being able to quickly jump into docs, sheets, or slides is super convenient.

Cons

Not many options, just basic views. If search doesn't turn up your document, good luck finding it. Folder structure is usually hidden, you need to perform multiple clicks just to find out where a document is located. Understand that this is by design but at times it would be convenient to quickly see where everything is.

Instant work

2019-01-29

I would not change a thing about the functionality of drive, it is innovative, easy, practical and fun. Gives you control and the opportunity to have everything in the cloud.

Pros

It is really amazing how this tool allows you and your team to work in real time, it makes work team a lot easier. In addition, it has historical data about who wrote, deleted or changed something, which gives you control of the file.

Cons

Nothing, I just wish office 365 could be as amazing as drive, because my company email is not compatible with google tools.

Discoverability is a major challenge. Folks often forget the names of the files created making it hard to find.

Brilliant file storage and creation tool

2018-02-13

Pros

It's an extremely useful and easy-to-use online (cloud-based) storage tool that also has document creation tools built-in (they rival Office 365). If you use Gmail in your business then it's a no-brainer and the storage costs are very, very reasonable, even for big users.

There could be some improvements to the document creation tools to make them as comprehensive of the Office 365 suite i.e.

Good integration with Gmail/G Suite, otherwise very similar to competitors OneDrive and Dropbox

2018-11-01

Pros

I like how well it works with Gmail, and how I can easily save attachments to my Drive for later access.

Google Drive is Essential for Small Businesses

2018-10-16

Pros

You can have a central hub for all projects in one place. You can also share your documents with others and they can edit/collaborate in real time. I also appreciate how you can search in the bar for all of your documents to quickly find what you are looking for.

Cons

My one con is that now I have files saved in both office 365 and google drive.

Overall, Google Drive is an excellent product. If Microsoft wasn't such a big part of our envrionment I would recommend using Google Drive and Google Apps.

Pros

Pros

I like how this is just like Office 365 but at the same time is free for anybody with a Google account.

Cons

Nothing really. A suggestion I would have would be to have some way to integrate presentations into documents, documents into presentations, etc. Other than that, I think it's perfect!

Drive is an invaluable tool. I love the seamless use between my PC and my phone, and instant access

2017-12-09

Ease of use. Instant access across all devices. Online storage. Share-ability with others.

Pros

With Google Docs, Slides, etc, I do not need to spend money on Office 365. I can store all of my important documents in one place and access them from anywhere, with any device.

Cloud storage that is expensive.

2018-09-09

Very disappointed, they give me 100GB to try it out then, after a year they downgraded me and i had to transfer all my files to another cloud service because i didn't want to pay extra high prices. I feel that because is a Google service they are trying to get more money that is worth.

Pros

Same as all the other cloud storage, easy to use and integration with all the google products.

Cons

VERY expensive, I can't believe that in this time in age Google is trying to get people to pay for this service at such high price, with Office 365 you get all the Office software PLUS OneDrive 1TB FREE storage INCLUDED with your subscription actually iCloud is way less expensive than Google Drive, something I never thought possible.

Arguably the best cloud solution available

2018-09-23

Pros

It works extremelly well and have a huge pool of other Google services integrated that end up making it much more than simply a cloud storage, it works very well, the transfers are fast, its local client takes care of local folder sincronization and it has endless collaboration and sharing options all managed through thee same gmail / Gsuite / Google account.

Cons

Its PC client can consume a little more resources than it should in some less powerful machines and If you already use Office 365 in your company iyou probably already have Skydrive included in your plan that is as good as Drive and has its cloud syncronization integrated in Windows.

Excellent value for money with high degree of functionalisty

2018-09-26

Pros

Despite being free Google drive has more helpful features than the more powerful and expensive Office 365. The ability to easily create, manage and search folders is a key bonus.

Cons

Obviously the functions of google sheets and docs does not compare to Microsoft. Also there can be issues when copying from Google to Microsoft. However there is very little to complain about on Google drive. I strongly recommend it to everyone/

I live on Google Drive

2018-10-04

Drive has saved my classmates, my co-workers, and my parents countless hours. I've used the collaboration tools for everything from traveling to homework to make fun of my friends. It's easy to pickup and use and I cannot recommend it enough.

Pros

It's easy to use and because most people have used it (unlike Office 365), I find that it is a pretty easy way to be productive in a team setting.

Cons

I think the docs portion of Google Drive leaves a bit to be desired. It is a much more user friendly version of Word, but because of that, it is also somewhat limited in what it can do. If my priority is designing the best looking document, I am much more inclined to use pages or word than docs.

It's Great

2019-03-13

Pros

In my experience Office 365 tends to dominate in the corporate sector while Google has been pushing really hard in the undeserved Educational sector.

Cons

Most of the corporate world works in Microsoft Office. I like "least" that Google's software isn't more integrated in the corporate world.
