Microsoft Office is essential for anyone in the workforce today.

2018-08-23

Pros

There seems to be a lot you can do with Microsoft office as they've basically set the standard for creating word documents and presentations. If you ever try to use a spreadsheet with any other program besides excel and you just get madness. Microsoft provides some powerful tools to get work done.

Cons

I wish that they had better cloud support. Microsoft OneDrive feels clunky and glitchy.

Fast editing/writing/planning, good play together with our team

2018-07-24

Working fast and good togehter, make nice presentations and documents.

Pros

The next thing i like is microsofts OneDrive, with a valid subscription of Office 365 you get 1TB space, thats very nice to work and store important datas.

Cons

I think the price is to much for an year of Office 365, it's more than normal. The last Officepacks from Microsoft where offline, but you buy it and you had it for ever. The OneDrive (Microsofts Cloud) is not so good for playing media and had a little bit of bugs and problems with sharinglinks. (Share Pictures, Videos, Data with friends oder your teammates)

Migrate to the cloud

2019-01-04

We solved the dependancy on a local server. We no longer depend on an expensive nor difficult to deal Windows Server. Drastically reduced our SysOps personnel. We eliminated the use of email. We deleted duplicate files issue we always had. We have simple dashboards that let us track in an easier way the progress of any tasks. Integrates with Azure DevOps.

Pros

Microsoft Teams, Onedrive and Planner. As simple as it gets for collaboration purposes. You can add files and sync in different libraries that can be synced back to you computer using onedrive. The same files can be linked to a task in Planner. It just works.

Cons

Sharepoint. Even though this may be a very good piece of software, it looks aged and complicated. It doesn't integrate very well with Teams and Planner, and without noticing you end up with a mess of files. Permissions are not easy to deal with either. Project Online. Wonderful software that has an aging interface. Lot's of functionality, but hey we are in 2019 and it is missing a lot of cloud features and integrations from Office 365. Can't work 100% with Planner nor Teams.

Microsoft Office... 'Nuff Said.

2018-02-21

Pros

Office 365 (while initially a fan of the subscription pricing) delivers the newest offerings automatically (while the subscription is active). Being able to keep current is a must for me.

Cons

I really do not like Microsoft forcing OneDrive down consumer's throats! I use Google Drive, and would appreciate the ability to store my files in the sync folder for Google Drive. There is no way to set a default location for documents. This is extremely frustrating.

Only use it because it's included in Office 365

2018-07-03

Pros

It's basically free as it's included in Office 365 licensing.

Cons

Clunky. Slow. Dropbox like functionality isn't very good. There are multiple flavours which cause issues for users that have a personal account and a business account. Syncing fails often from Windows.

You must use it with Office 365.

Pros

It has a great integration with Office 365, and especially SharePoint.

Cons

A lot of syncing issues. Auto Save is not a good feature to go with. You might open a file in there and edit it, without realizing it's been saving it.

Best Of Both World's

2019-03-14

Pros

I'm person who enjoys freebies but I also appreciate quality and Onedrive offers the best of both worlds. If you're just starting up and have minor usage of data the free plan is excellent and great for use, from students to minor businesses. And you're able to access your data from multiple devices.

Cons

I found the office 365 slightly expensive so my Onedrive usage was restricted to just storage use

Great cloud storage/synchronization solution

2018-12-04

It's quick to synchronize, it's reliable, and it's integrated with Office 365 so that I can simply have all my office files synchronize across all my devices and be available when and where I need them.

Pros

-Easy to set up -Integrates seamlessly with Office 365 -Great cross platform availability -Offers photo backup on phone -Good pricing -Included with Office 365

Cons

-By default on a fully updated Windows 10 installation will try to synchronize almost the whole system -Support seems poorly trained

A nice free solution built into office 365

2018-07-25

Free storage with office 365 is just a nice addition!

Pros

Its just so easy to setup for employees and the fact that its included with office 365 makes it such a no brainer.

Cons

the fact that on every windows 10 computer it auto starts up and runs even if you do not set it up. It is something that should be enabled when it is actually setup.

I feel safe storing my files in OneDrive

2018-05-04

File backup, syncing, remote access, cloud storage, integration with Office 365.

Pros

Our company started using OneDrive when we migrated to Office 365. I began using it right away to store all of the files that I use for daily work and projects.

Cons

There have been some minor syncing issues. Nothing that has caused me to lose a file, however, it will show some files as not synced that are really synced. Also, the speed of syncing has been inconsistent at times.

2018-12-10

That's good option because is cheapy with Office 365. I love!

Pros

My experience with OneDrive has been spotty; but I do love having my files wherever I go.

2017-08-15

Easily access files from anywhere; works with other Office 365 products.

Pros

I like that OneDrive is easily accessible from any of my devices and that I can easily share docs with my colleagues within my organization and also with suppliers, etc. outside my organization.

Cons

My files do not always sync automatically to OneDrive quickly and seemlessly; many times I have to actively upload items when I want to share them because they did not sync. Microsoft needs to make their software work with file names that include special characters; its really ridiculous that these files won't upload without issues. Dropbox works seemlessly in comparison.

The OneDrive portable file

2018-12-14

Pros

The things that I liked the most about this software was that it was easy to use and it's free with your office 365 and of how the file that you saved on it you can access it on another computer if you login to your office 365 account.

Cons

The cons would be that you have to have a office 365 account of course for having the OneDrive.

Storage heaven

2019-03-28

Pros

Onedrive offers a free package that has a substantial amount of storage space. Your account can be accessed from multiple devices creating ease in whatever business you're engaged in. Also documents and files can be shared with others by a simple use of links. When you upgrade to paid plan, there's a series of different packages to select from making sure you'll find the right one for you.

Cons

I found the package offering adaptable for companies with full access to office 365 on the more expensive end.

It's a backup tool

2019-03-15

One drive does a good job of giving you a cloud backup. However, outside of that, there isn't a whole lot of features. It would be nice to be able to select different folders and different sync schedules. But that isn't here. But for the money, it's a decent option for document backups

Pros

Works great with Office 365 or Windows

My favorite file-syncing solution

2019-03-15

Being able to access your documents and files from anywhere is a gamechanger!

Pros

It works the way it should - things that should sync do, things that shouldn't don't, and the introduction of online-only files means that you can store more in the cloud than your hard drive can keep at any one time.

Cons

The free offering is a little meager on space, but an Office 365 subscription gets you a full 1TB of data.
