I have used this softare in my classroom. I find it especially useful when delivering remote instruction.
I like how this software is compatible with everything Microsoft. It is very user friendly and is great for teaching in the classsroom, and remotely.
I used Google Classroom prior to using Microsoft Teams. I think it is ALMOST as user friendly as google classrom.

It's fine. It does the job, but not enjoyably. Glitches and difficulties make it frustrating to use on a daily basis.
Teams is trying to do what Google Classroom does....and I give credit for the effort. Creating a fully functional classroom with assignments, streams/classes, ways to connect, etc is a worthy cause, and something they should continue to work the bugs out of so that it can be a solid product.
Unfortunately Teams is filled with inconsistencies in function, form, and quality. Seems unable to handle a classroom sized group of students without malfunctioning. There are multiple ways to upload, view, and turn in assignments, making it confusing for the students using it (and the teachers trying to explain where to find things). Multiple misses in the design of the system, like teachers are unable to see students asking to enter a class or raise their hand while they share their screen. And if not a design issue in itself, the help tools in finding how to make those things possible seems difficult to find for those who need it.

It is nice to share easily a form or assignment to a teacher.
It brings the classroom together so everyone shares with everyone.
I personally did not enjoy it even though it was pretty easy to use.

This allowed our school to stay connected with students at home during the past 2 schoolyears.
The ability to quickly connect with students at home while still being able to teach students in my classroom. I could quickly press a button and connect my computer screen and video to any student that couldn't be in my classroom.
Maybe it was an internet issue, but it was common for me to experience issues where my video was lagging or stopped working.

I've been using Teams mostly since we moved from in-person education to online due to the recent pandemic.
It's flexible for use when working remote exclusively or for being in my classroom with my students.
I wish it was a bit more customizable. For example, I'd like to be able to change the labels. Also, I wish the video recording with a bit more user friendly.

I like to work with Microsoft Teams. It has the most options I need as a teacher
I love the features that make I can have a virtual classroom in my house. Principally in pandemic
At start little difficult to use, but when you use it more time, it's very easy to use

Overall I think it’s a great product to use especially for work or classroom settings. I have had to use it with homeschool for several occasions of which I found it to be very user friendly.
Everything that you need to create a working environment is available whether at work or in a classroom setting.
Everything was great! I was able to get homeschool and meetings done without any issues like other products on the market.

Good for holding a classroom because it can upload files, chat, and set deadlines for tasks all in one place.
For video meetings, it is not as good as its competitor. And it is hard to change the profile in the school/ enterprise version because it is controlled centrally by the enterprise administrator

Several of my colleagues use Microsoft Teams extensively. I use it primarily for messaging. It seems like a good platform for online teaching.
I mainly use Microsoft Teams to communicate via messages. There are many, many useful features if you are a classroom teacher.
I have no complaints about this software. I do not use it often, and only to communicate via messages, so I am not aware of any cons.

I love the software and I highly recommend it. it's helpful and handy. I am using it!
schools in my country were closed when the Coronavirus pandemic reached dangerous levels last year, Mars. We needed to reach our students even when they are inside their homes. M.Teams saved us. it facilitated connecting with the students and assigning exercises and explaining lessons and discussing things that matter. it also allowed us to chat with each student in private, which helped us cope with each one's difficulties and needs. There are also many other features that I love about this software, such as online chat, video sharing, screen-sharing...etc
the system may lag some times when there is pressure on the server; for example, when uploading a video or an image to the classroom page it keeps failing.

It's functional, but clearly designed for business usage much more than classroom usage. They seem to have no clue what functionalities teachers need.
The entire O365 suite of course integrates with Teams very smoothly--but forget about any other non-MS plug-ins.
Many of my students prefer Google docs to the O365 suite, and those links are blocked constantly by Teams. MS likes too protect its own apps, which can be prohibitive when kids want to do things their own way.

Overall, Microsoft Teams is great. It feels a bit more secure and is very user friendly.
Microsoft Teams is very easy to use and is user-friendly. I enjoy being able to have multiple views and layouts on the software. Teams make it so if you want to view everyone, "classroom" style, it's easy and you would be able to see all participants if their camera is turned on.
What I dislike about Microsoft Teams is that when we use the "Classroom" view, it flips our camera. That just throws me off a bit, but otherwise, it is still great!

Microsoft team is good software with many features, but it is suitable for education, not the business.
it is a good software for educational purposes, you can easily control the classroom during the lecture by sharing the screen and sending files to the participants.
Since I have my own small business and I am a master's student, I think Microsoft team is better for education and I didn't like it for my business.

Teams adds an extra layer of communication possibilities on top of OneNote Classroom Notebooks. I really like OneNote notebooks for instruction and for portfolio possibilities.
I like the integration with MS Office 365, particularly with Forms and with OneNote Classroom Notebooks. It works well both when doing remote and online instruction and in-class instruction. Communication with all or some students is easy and it is properly recorded. Checking the status of assignments is very good.
The integration with our LMS was a bit weak. Marks from Teams were not always properly transferred into our LMS. The saving of files cross different teams is not always easy to follow. I sometimes had a bit of trouble with the integration of quizzes using MS Forms.

It has helped with being able to see our virtual students and is a solid program to use.
I like the ease of logging into the program or being invited into someone else's classroom. It's easy to share your screen, if given permission by the teacher.
I don't like how you're sometimes unable to see the student when you're sharing your screen. Also, at times, when you stop sharing, the student's video does not return.

Pandemic has brought around some much needed change in the world we live in, including the way we educate children. My daughter's school adapted and introduced MS Teams to families. I was confident that I am able to learn its functions right away because I have always been a technical person. But NO, I was surprised that it was not very intuitive at all. I had to LEARN it and LOVE it. Once you are familiar with how it works, you will see why the school opted to use it. It has more functions than Google Classroom.
I like that it is very useful when used as an online classroom. Young kids, with regular use, will be able to navigate the basic functions on their own.
I had trouble when I first used it. As a technical person myself, it was not easy to adapt to its functions. We, the parents of the school kids, had to undergo 1 week training in order to be familiar with MS Teams. It was not like Zoom or Google Meet which are basically touch-and-go apps you can easily work with from the beginning.

As student teachers Microsoft teams makes it easier for me to manage my classroom by allowing me to control you are able to remove and mute persons.
Since March of 2020 I have been using teams for group work, online classes and even test. It is great application for lecturer time lessons. What I find very useful is the feature that allows you to mute, add or remove participants from the meeting. There are time persons forget to mute there microphones and it can be a bit distracting for those who are trying to listen to a presentation. Another feature that i find really handy is the whiteboard feature that allows every participant to be able to use it at the same time, which is great when asking a student to work a math problem for the class to see.
Though Microsoft teams interactive whiteboard is good it is limited. The application does not allow the students to interact with other materials that you might have planned, such as an online game. Like google classroom that allows you to add extensions that would make the students able to interact with your screen teams does not have this. For lessons that have a lot of manipulatives and require high interaction from the students teams is not the software for the job.

MS Teams is in overall and outstanding software where you could have video conferences or audio calls. You could monitor each student separately or class by class which is a great feature. So I would recommend this software to anyone who either wants to teach or learn online. Just go for it. You won't regret.
I have been using Microsoft Teams for quite a long time period and I have never had any big issue with joining a meeting or conducting one. Teams has made my work a lot more easier by allowing me to create a virtual classroom using channels which is not much different from the actual physical classroom. Also the ability to assign projects and assignments is great. This software takes e-learning to the next standard.
The one drawback I see is that sometimes there are issues in connecting through apple devices. Other than that, this software is simply amazing.

I really like the features that MS Teams offers. You can notify people to join the meeting, have a private chat, can raise the hand in the classroom, etc. Very good solution for teachers & students.
I have been experiencing problems with my connection, even though I'm using the App on my Mac. I also could not share my screen when I had to.

Great for college settings and explicit multi-team organizations. However, Slack and Google Workspace are similarly viable options that could be considered based on the desire for video conferencing quality.
For the pandemic classroom setting, the ability to have classes/teams and channels was INCREDIBLE, as well as managed file systems that allowed for teachers to share resources and students to manage their file submissions in an easy manner.
Video quality was often poor, which is likely a function of compounded feature loading (f.e. having audio calls while collaborating on a DOCX file often lead to clipping and pronounced lagging).

Microsoft Teams is one of the reliable, simple to understand chat based meeting platform. available as free is best for schools colleges etc
Features like the ability to add a team picture ,create channels for class subjects, add apps like Flip grid and Quizlet, the meeting features are good for holding classroom sessions, virtual white boards and document sharing.Simple and easy process to setup Microsoft Teams
The Anti cheating feature teams cannot detect if students share or take screenshots. Recovering the deleted messages is not a smooth process .

It was good, but in the end Google won me over with Workspace and the affiliated Google networks.
I liked how we could view meetings from a browser, mobile app or a desktop instalment. The quality of the meetings improved with the downloaded desktop version so I highly recommend you download the app.
The conferencing was an excellent feature however, my video screen sharing would great some video performance issues with attendees. Overall, an excellent SaaS for small business owners who use PC.

I have been using Teams, Webex, Zoom parallelly for attending classes and online examinations, most of my lectures are arranged in teams where apart from meetings, we can have assignments, grading, chatting. It's the best one-stop for all the classroom activities.
Most convenient way of organising meetings. Best platform for both Live lectures and recorder, we don't need to download another software to play the recorded videos. Screensharing is butter smooth especially while sharing 3d graphic software visuals. While other apps fail to recognise the importance of scroll button on mouse, teams Is spot on.
To be able to pin my video for screen recording. Especially for proctoring of examinations, we need to have video of ourselves while able to see questions.

Teams has some issues and is not my first choice for this type of software, but it has extra features that some may enjoy.
Microsoft Teams is bulkier than other similar software products, with a clunky design and issues causing slow-down for extra large groups. However, there are some neat extra features like the "classroom" setting background and the ability to change your personal background settings or blur your background.
The organization of the chats and different rooms is rather clunky if you are using multiple team chats/video calls.

I switched from teams, and I feel the overall layout of this one is better than teams. The extra features for testing top it off.
I think the tests/reports were the best part about this, ensuring my business stays accurate so my workers know what theyre doing when they answer the test.

It's a great start for educational institutions.
Easy to use and, for school, feature rich in terms of how tutors can interact with their students.
I think that though it's great, MS Teams may have an edge over it. MS Teams seems more integrated into Windows and the Skype echo-system which is used by millions and is proven to be very stable. Classroom's file sharing, conferencing however are still good to use.

I think that Google Classroom is a great tool to use among coworkers when sharing information and ideas.
Google Classroom is a great tool for sharing lessons and work plans with other colleagues, and staff members. Google Classroom allows you to upload assignments, notes, PDFS, and any other documents. You can share items with your team in real time so that you can see if and when any changes are made.
I think that the only con that I have for Google Classroom is that you can't import documents from Microsoft word into Google.

Google Classroom is a software where students, teachers, business partners and more can communicate and share information in various formats. With the addition of giving feedback via the 'Add Comment' feature prevents persons not being able to communicate entirely. The layout and design of the software is user-friendly, hence anyone can learn to use the software for the first-time.
The ability to view large video files without much buffering.
The inability to view some video files from the software itself, thus moving to browsers like Microsoft Edge on a device like an Amazon Tablet.

At the university we use more frequent MS Teams and we only use Google Classroom on a few subjects. I personally prefer working in Google Classroom.
Easy and intuitive operation, very nice simple design, provides all the basic functionality needed for a virtual classroom (homework, assignments, materials, evaluation, ...)
I didn't find anything that bothered me. In my opinion, this is currently the best platform for virtual classrooms.
