We haven't really found many major downsides ourselves, although like any shared file platform, a few initial permissions niggles, folder structures and file organisation that still needed managed properly or things could have become messy over time; a particular issue when volunteers come and go over time, or people work from different devices.

It's security and convenience is unmatched, meaning it is in my opinion the best in the market with no other competitors matching it's specification and expertise. If you like secure cloud based documents you can access anywhere, use OneDrive.
