The integrations are outstanding. Apps can be connected and custom shortcuts can be created in-app.
Ideally there would be better functionality with Google Meet. Eg, would be nice if Meet could be used as the default calling app in addition to Zoom.

Couldn't run our business without it.
We love the chat, groups for collaboration, file share and ad hoc video calls. The product was an institution before COVID when we were all in the office together and now that we are remote/office hybrid it is a life saver.
Video conferencing was tempermental so we use Google Meet more for that, but it may have improved.

Easy to use. Can create lot of channels to organize communications.
The hudle tool ( call between members) are not super efficient. We often have to switch to Google meet instead.

Slack helps keep communication between me and my coworkers where I am able to work just as efficiently remotely as though I were in the office.
Working remotely, Slack is necessary for me to keep in contact with the company, both between the other designers as well as the sales reps.
The call feature doesn't feel fully integrated well. We usually just opt for a normal phone call or using Google Meet for video calls.

We are quite happy with Slakck, it's now our standard communication channel as we try to use email less.
It's easy to use, robust and a powerfull reaserch feature and sharing document, also a lot of addon to customize, improve and extend your chat with other products.
Audio quality is not the best, compared for example to Google meet. Also thread seems to be powerfull but I believe it can be improved and sometimes is messy

Overall, I find Slack to be an excellent product for communicating and organizing in the workplace.
I like the user friendly and easy to use interface of Slack, especially the wealth of important productivity tools built in, like videoconferencing features, the ability to ping and group messages by topic and group, and the useful add-ons like the ability to link Slack with Outlook Calendar and Airflow.
Overall the video conferencing software in Slack is very hit or miss, with it comparing unfavorably compared to competing services like Zoom and Google Meet. Slack is also missing other productivity tools like word processing functions and centralized file sharing, making it more of a tool than an enterprise setup.

It's like old time when we using Microsoft messenger. Specially those emotions icons, but with new style. Also, sharing pictures, videos, files, etc...
Nothing up to I know. But this program needs more ads and incorporate into other programs. Also sometimes, at the beginning I used to have issues with notifications, but I thing you guys fixed the issue

My overall experience with Slack is very positive. I could not live without it and it definitely improves my productivity during my working day. As a tool, I believe it has the potential to become a "true" tech giant.
I love that it functions both in a way that meets both the social and professional needs of our team. I feel that it is a tool that I think that it is a tool that should be valued more. The ability to integrate apps into Slack allows it to go beyond just a simple messaging tool.
I would really love an inbuilt video call function to allow me to meet with other colleagues, without utilising other platforms.

It is so simple, so fun and has some many great features. Not only does it allow us to communicate quickly and efficiently, it allows us fun activities for team building and engagement, allows instant conversations via huddle and instant screen sharing between team members without having to move to something else like Zoom or Google Meet.
Sometimes we have users that can't get their screen share and huddle features to work properly.

Being one of the most popular tool for communication, Trello meet all our expectation in daily work. We, as a software development company, really love it for the way and tool Slack offers us for communications with the client and inside the team based on projects. What is really useful for us - is integration with Trello and Google Drive.
Quite a small amount of space for that price. We are uploading a lot of .psd files that might use more than 500 Mb each.

Our company uses G Hangouts for internal calls as we used to use Slack but Slack Video sucks.
It connects with Google Calendar so it auto sends a link for your invitees to join for a conference call
It's not the best quality and can have issues sometimes. But its free so you can't complain too much!

Great Experience so far. No complaints besides the loading being a little slow here and there.
I like how easy it is to communicate with everyone in the company. I have to communicate with people in Atlanta or Bay Area from Denver and it is very efficient.

I love the option to have hangouts through your google account it makes it really easy to communicate to others especially when your company uses google based email accounts.
Used to work better, I liked that you could separately use hangouts but now it’s more built into google. It works but preferred it separately.

We use Google Hangouts, although we are starting to use it less and less. It is part of the G Suite subscription we have, so everyone in the company has it. It works quickly and reliably, and also has video chat. But, we are moving over to Slack more and more, as it has more features like threaded replies and emojis, which we found useful to keep up morale and as a less noisy way to respond to issues.
It comes with Google Suite so everyone in the company has access to it, and they are automatically in the company directory.
It is lagging beind Slack. Slack have added lots of useful features, like threaded replies and emojis, and Google Hangouts is showing its age and not really updated.

This is an optimal replacement to Slack for our official communication.
The best thing about this application is its super easy user-interface, followed by its efficiency. We use Google Hangout for our office communication and I for one haven't been disappointed with it even for once. Highly recommended.

Overall this is useful software for daily meetups and for calls. It has integration with Slack so you can even make hangout group call inside Slack channel. It's very useful.
This is great chatting messaging software, mostly used to be for business meetings, it has professionaly designed group call feature. I use this on weekly meetings. It's also has great feature to dial to cell phones, and it's free inside USA and Canada.
I don't mind any serious cons only know that soon dialing and out calls will be stopped and time to time looses connection with in call.
