Slido vs Poll Everywhere Comparison

I was most impressed with the fact that I didn't need to learn much about the mechanics of the Slido features. In most situations, I want to, but in a jam - having to throw together an interactive quiz show for 20 tables of 6 - it was a great relief that everything was at my fingertips and simply worked.

I expect that at some point I'll try to do just the thing that Slido can't handle, but so the Slido team is leaps and bounds ahead of me in thinking up new ways to engage groups in learning, competition and fun. The only stumbling block I hit was thinking that I would be limited to 3 quiz questions in the Free version because that version limits the number of polls per event to three. When I realized I had confused the two, angel choirs sang (we were down to 90 minutes before departure for the event venue).

I really like the cloud poll interactive activity.

I was looking for the QR code for easy access of my students.

Mainly I use survey for making page for polling to collect feedbacks

It's easy to use during poll making and convenient

Perfect plugin to use within PowerPointDirect live results of votes via phone/website link.

Not able to disable the registration number in the live view/

I likee the ability to create individual events to poll audiences.

Gets a little complicated for mixed virtual IRL events, there's a lot of steps. Works best for ALL-virtual events.

Easy to use both for poll creator and for user answering

Limit of 3 polls for free license.One point of improvement for cloud polls is the ability to edit or export it in the way that you as admin can join same concepts to have a clearer cloud, useful if you want to present a result outside the poll time

I like Poll and live voting the most. overall very nice app

I may need to look at a tutorial, but I'd like to quickly be able to duplicate a slido, to use it again with anther class. I couldn't find out how, so I had to repeat work to make a new one. I liked using the Poll feature - but couldn't figure out how to duplicate it so I had to cut and paste my questions in again to set up a new one. Maybe a little mini video on how to use each feature and how to do things like duplicate Polls would work? Or maybe a facility to delete all the answers so that I can use the same Q&A with another class? Thank you. :)

The best thing about Slido is to sign up for the service on a case by case basis. Most other companies like it you would have to do a subscription.

I'm not that tech savvy, so I wasn't sure how to embed the live poll in my powerpoint slide.

My clients love the quiz function. It is super easy to make a poll in an instant.

The PPT integration is not my cup of tea.

So easy to use. I gathered poll results in 2 minutes. Easy to set up, very intuitive.

Id like to have a pro version...........

it's very easy and have lot of features but the interface feels a bit old

I can't addd multiple "multiple choice questions" at same time, I have to save the poll and then create another poll to select multiple choice. I don't know if this only in the free version. Also the ui seems a bit old and the usage is a bit hard to adapt it.

As for the multiple polls, there is a way to group them and have them on at the same time, it's a feature called Survey. However, currently it's only available in the paid versions. We can add polls and also attach timer so that the members who are attending the poll cannot involve in any malpractice.

Sometimes if the connectivity is poor, the countdown between the questions takes a while and the question gets skipped without answering.

I like that it integrates easily into powerpoint and yet allows me the flexibility to use it with my phone. I like that I have various question type options in the free version. I like that it is VERY easy for the audience to use and provides real-time opportunity to answer questions and promote engagement.

So far, I've liked all I've tried so I do not have any "cons"

I loved the flexibility and fast real time polling response. Very good follow up care by Slido customer service too

I needed to manually start and end the poll : more of my own worrywart that i fail to start it just before the talk

Allows me to poll students about things they rather not say out loud, such as skills they are looking to improve by the end of the term.

When a Slido has run its course, there are a few too many clicks to re-activate it. But I am only using the free version, so paid tiers may have more ease of use.

Love the simplicity of the app. We use this program during seminars to present questions and leave the answer anonymous so the customer doesn't feel stupid. It's great for team engagement questions as well.

I'm being pretty picky but sometimes if I don't have good wifi I cannot complete the poll questions during some seminars and have to skip it.

We use Slido on a weekly basis to help engage on webinars and gain information about what our clients needs are. It's really easy to use and has a great, simple UI.

It would be able to reset all questions on a group of poll questions in one go instead of having to do each separately. Otherwise it is great

Thanks to a recommendation by a friend, we were able to put up a slido poll and quiz at the last moment, for a very important, in-person workshop. Thanks!

As an admin, it is not easy to use present mode and keep an eye out on the polls. Additionally, polls do not stop automatically, once finished.

The software encourages quick audience participation. My favorite feature is the Word Cloud and poll function. I like how easy it is to either use the QR code or log in.

Since the function to embed in the powerpoint has become available, I don't have any complaints. It used to be annoying to have to toggle between screens but that is gone now.

The range of options available to create engagement opportunities with attendees, particularly, the quiz and the live poll functions allow you to judge the mood in the room without needing to pause the main presentation.

The clunkiness in moderating and managing user questions in the Question and answer area. Senior management also don't like the ability for users to submit anonymous questions

I started using slido 2 years ago. I do 3-4 conference talks each year. I have also tried many ways to better engage my audience and bring them into the talk. At that time I was required to use my smartphone to activate each poll of which I use 3 during the class. A couple of weeks ago I was setting it up to use again and this time I discovered the power point integration. When I set it u, which was pretty easy, I was able to use the ppt slides and when I got to a slide for the poll, it pops up automatically and immediately activates the desired poll. And this conference was virtual so I was able to use it sharing my screen on Zoom and people across the country participated in the 3 polls I had.

Setting it up takes some time but I think it works pretty well.

I like how easy it is to set up a quick poll among students and the variety of ways they can answer it while discussing the topic. I like the fact that all my students can participate in class discusdions when using Slido.

I did not find any difficulty using the app.
