It was amazing to have the full potential of this tool available, it has great features like the calendar view, integration with Google Calendar, you're able to add attachments, locations, etc.

The minimalistic design is very intuitive, and I found it to be so easy to use immediately due to the common features and UI that it shares with some of the Google apps that I'm used to using.

Lack of estimation feature. There is possibility to estimate task in no of pomodoros but it is really hidden.

I paid for a desktop license and an iPhone license. I still prefer this to a monthly fee indefinitely, but there are plenty of companies offering one license for all devices so this was disappointing.

I still use it on my phone, but as a secondary GTD system, because of its lack of integration with Windows.

Additionally, I love that I can just hit a quick ctrl-spacebar at any time regardless of the program I'm in when I'm on desktop and I can quick enter a task and return and flesh it out later on.

However, for someone with a more complex task list it is easy to loose items in the database due to the limited search (perspective view).

I like that it is not a subscription. Its  pricey but only has to be bought once.

It is Mac only which prevented full adoption for me for a while. The cost is also high,  plus you have to pay on different platforms.
