I am quite satisfied. User interface is good. Connectivity is mind blowing. Communictaion with others is easier than ever. What else is required. Even they have mobile app as well.
It has a strong sync with Microsoft office products especially to control & manage the data you have in onedrive & sharepoint. I believe that is the only tool you need during work. Good for those who have Microsoft family products in their offices
It can do much better than Meta and yet it is still far away from achieving it. It can be a whole universe.

A microsoft product, well researched and useful product in order to communicate at our workplace. Best one yet apart from other apps we've used so far
None as of now, found it really helpful since it has been introduced to us.

My favorite feature about this software is being able to connect with your colleagues in one workplace.
My least favorite feature about this software is not being able to integrate and connect all your social media accounts.

It is a useful tool in the workplace for internal communications, but is limited to a degree because it can be a bit difficult to use, especially if you are not using it every day.
It's quick and easy to post content, links, and files relevant to the workplace or specific individuals.
It's too hard to find old posts and to set up notifications. Some of the features and options are hidden away and hence don't get used.

I have used it in my previous workplace that was really helpful and time-effective.
Yammer provides very easy communication among employees of a company. It reduces the number of emails and meetings because of easy communication. Pictures, files can be shared easily.
While so many innovations added to the software, its functionality is somehow complicated and basic trainings are important for new users.

The ability to communicate with work professionals.
I like that the platform is limited to those I work with. It is super professional for our workplace.
I wish it could integrate with other social media platforms that are already out there. I wish there was an app for my Mac.

Overall positive, however could not identify the niche of the product if comparing against Workplace for example.
Had great features to really collaborate with your team. Being able to receive updates real time as well as messaging others was a great feature.
Could not really identify what the niche was compared to other competitors. Had similar features and functions.

I have enjoyed my experience with Yammer, primarily involving daily communication with coworkers.
I liked the ease of use and functionality when educating others in the workplace on what can be accomplished via Yammer.
Yammer at times seems limited in file sharing and other high-level sharing, but we have other options within the suite to utilize for those purposes.

Overall I would say Yammer is a 10/10! From collaborating on topics to keeping up with what is going on in other company departments, to just chatting back and forth with coworkers, Yammer is a very important part of our workplace.
I love how easy it is to collaborate with coworkers via Yammer.
I don't have any negative things to say about this software.

It is really nice viewing posts from other employees that are related to work questions that people have but don't know who to direct them which usually yield many helpful responses. It is also a form of social media where people post humorous work related posts that help create a light and happy work environment.
I don't have anything negative to say about it, it is a nice addition to the workplace that is both helpful and creates a nice work environment.

Overall great platform to share ideas and collaborate, but definitely would not pay for this platform, as there are free or charge platforms that currently exist.
This platform is almost like the social media platform we use in the workplace. It allows us to communicate better and share ideas and recognize those that do good deeds within our organization
After 1 year of using this platform, i am still trying to get used to the platform as there are things about the platform i still do not know or am aware of.

Overall, Yammer has been a great tool for our workplace. It has eliminated much of the email build-up in our inboxes, and serves as a great "permanent" online space for forms and the like.
I work for a very large organization (500+ employees) and Yammer has greatly improved our ability to collaborate across divisions and networks. There is more transparency into what is happening in other parts of the organization.
It is not as customizable as I would like. It would be nice to have more ability to organize the left-hand groups display.

I think that the nostalgic idea of a message board for the business world may have had good intentions, but the current culture does not support it. It's also not necessary with how frequently people are utilizing email and other forms of communication like chat/im and video conferencing. Yammer is, unfortunately, just another thing that we have to "check" on instead of having that information delivered directly to us.
Yammer allows people with similar interests and/or work groups to interact in a business-friendly environment. It's fairly easy to use and integrated with Microsoft 365.
Yammer is a glorified Facebook. It makes it too easy to bring the Facebook culture into the workplace. It seems like a product that was made with Millenials in mind, but is geared more toward the opinionated, over-sharing crowd that utilizes Facebook on a daily basis.

As Vice President of our Social Committee, Yammer is a key tool in keeping our members engaged and informed while away from the office. We can post reminders, or pictures from contests, and it really gets the whole group involved and participating.
I appreciate being able to connect with people within my organization in a more social and laid back forum. The platform is easy to use, and allows broadcasts to all members of a particular group, which will also send their work email a message. It has allowed for a space where people can still maintain a sense of community, even while working from home. Sharing photos or hosting contests, Yammer has become a key tool in our workplace community.
Not as customizable as some other social platforms, and posts seem to be limited in their ability to be unique looking. Most aspects, including reactions, are very cut and paste.

Overall, Yammer is a decent social media for the workplace and gets the job done. With the ability to share files and give organizational-wide PSAs, it really has a lot of practical functionality even if the UI could use some updating.
Yammer is good for organizational-wide social-media like announcements. Sometimes things aren't important enough for department/organizational-wide emails but are helpful enough for those who are interested enough to see it. Yammer is the perfect place to broadcast without spamming inboxes.
The UI looks really stale and really could use some modernization. It looks kind of depressing and old when you're on site.

Not useful for me at all. I wish it wasn't used in my company.
It's not really for me so I don't have any pros. I guess it is good if you want yet another form of communication.
I find it really messy. My workplace introduced it as another form of communication as an alternative to email. But it's just one more thing to check, and I can't structure it like I do my inbox. With my inbox I can file things under certain categories, delete things that aren't useful.... with yammer everything is just there all together with no real coordination.

Yammer's value is felt the more its used by teams. If leadership doesn't consistently follow up to ensure employees are using it Yammer will be disappointing.
My company used Yammer to help employees collaborate better. Our older employees didn't make much use of the system but the potential of Yammer is great for engaged employees. The social nature of the product matches up well with our millennial workforce. Its essentially a business version of Facebook. Making work groups to streamline communication and give shout outs is easy and fun.
If you workforce isn't active on social media or appreciate those means of communication it might be a tough sell to get them on this system. Either way, implementing Yammer will take a consistent effort in campaigning for its usefulness if your workplace isn't used to this type of system. Yammer could also do better by allowing for more customization or branding by the employer to make it seem like an internal system. I have no complaints about the software itself.

Allowed me to stay in contact with others on my team of transcribers.
Setup was pretty easy. Pretty fast response from other users. Ability to stay connected when working remotely.
Sometimes it's hard to differentiate from one user or another. Especially if there's a lot of responses from several other users.

Added knowledge from other aspects of the company.
I like the social media layout of the software. This allows for people to already have an idea on how to use the software before any proper training. Allows for a cross-company form of communication.
A lot of useless notifications. if you are not active on the software for sometime, Microsoft likes to send random notifications to rope you back into using the software.

Great product. Features are limited but good enough for a young company.
Product created by one of the most famous companies on earth. It is widely used among smaller firms. Easy to get started.
Other products such as yammer might be more often used in other large organizations. So it would be good if facebook can expand their customer base.

I was pleasantly surprised at the easy-to-navigate design and how quickly my small team got up to speed. I haven't seen that since Yammer years back.
Whatever you might think of Facebook, whatever I might think of Facebook (which is not much), this is good software, verging on great, for organizing and facilitating communication and collaboration within companies. The simply named Workplace by Facebook is exactly that: a virtual workplace complete with "locations" and tools for storing, finding, and sharing files; for socializing; for chatting;...
Well, it's made by Facebook, whom I do not trust, so that's a deal breaker for me. If you do trust Facebook, then Workplace is a solid choice for not just managing teams, but bringing together entire companies. There are lot of conventions and UI elements that are carried over from Facebook, and since I'm not the greatest fan of any of those, I'd rather not see them in a work app. And like any app associated with Facebook, this one is constantly nagging you, reminding you, alerting you, etc. sometimes multiple times even after you've dismissed the dialog. Ugh.
