Since I utilize BC on a daily basis, I truly enjoy the ease of creating projects, building bid packages, sending out notifications to all at once or individually, how you can make notes in BC about your conversations with different subs, add tags, add favorites, how things are time stamped and dated, how we can sync the files to Box, add subs for projects we have already published; all in all, it is an extremely easy program to work with.

You can invite existing building connect companies to participate, as well as invite new trades.

It would be nice if they could be informed right away upon project award instead of needing to reach out to the winning general contractor to determine which subs they will go with.

I went from inputing about 30% of the information Building Connected has available in my own excel spreadsheet for at least 2-3 hours per day to letting the program do its job and running reports at my leisure!

I would say the one thing I like least about BuildingConnected is having to spell out our scope of work when sending documents in.

The free version gets your company out there and introduces you to GC's that you may not work with on a typical basis.

There are so many pros to this online application.

I've used mostly for project bidding and its great to keep track of different contractor's proposals and status so that all my team members are on the same page.

One of the great features that BC provides is the data analytics.

It is simple to view all documents and folders as well as all relevant data.

Project Engineer

I have enjoyed using Building Connected for coordinating subcontractor outreach within our team, but bid leveling has to be done outside of the Building Connected format.

This product if using to manage bids is extremely expensive.

I wish you could have the program pick the maximun number of subs available as default instead of 10 subs in each scope and then having to move the scale to a higher number.  

You cannot forward invites without buying paid version.
