I understand the app needs to maintain quality assurance and altering the app is difficult.   If Raken will add ADP API, Ad Hoc reporting and some minor app customizations my rating would go from 3 stars to a full 5 star rating.

I used Raken as a General contractor so I tracked reporting from our subcontractor who utilized the app.  

The features they used kept me in the loop and allowed for update meetings to run efficiently.

The dashboard feature allows me to see what is going on with all of our projects.

Did the designers creators behind it kept it for a lack of better words, looking rudimentary, like however, the functionality and what it produces is far from rudimentary very easy to maneuver.

Also, there are instances where Raken made a significant change to the app & didn’t notify their clients prior to change.  

Whatever the canned app has or doesn’t have will have to do because Raken will not cater to individual client’s needs.

Unable to integrate with other systems, the state required us to use their system and they would not pay for another system plus it would require dual entry.

Plans, daily progress reports and photos are easily accessible.  

It is a great tool to communicate information across all levels of our team.  

It’s made communication and documentation much more efficient.

It's an okay system for timecards, however, you have access to everyone's timecard in this system.

My least favorite part of raken, is the delay between mobile and PC platforms.

We also have created customized checklists that we use for project initiation, preconstruction and progress meetings and punch list.

I didn't experience any cons as the GC who used their reports.  

Raken doesn’t cater to individual client’s needs.

you can' separate it into different segments. and when you are working on and off a project each time you move the equipment it creates an entry and make it really hard to track/ has too many entires.

There has also been a couple of hiccups that I have had, but they were definitely user error.[sensitive content hidden] in support was able to help me out quickly and above my expectations!

There's not much about the app that we don't like, however, we would not complain about a cheaper cost.

Raken has been a fantastic addition to our toolbox.

Inputting notes and pictures now require multiple attempts, and the app often reboots and shuts off unexpectedly. Despite reaching out to tech support multiple times and following their suggestions, the problems persist.

Using Procore, there was too much sharing of this resource.

It is only limited to what you input into the app.

We were pleased with the system, but we are government funded and were required to use their system.

Love that we can customize our cost codes and track prevailing wage classifications.

Before Raken our Superintendents were filling out numerus hand written forms each day, this caused it to be impossible to get updated information with out making a lot of phone calls that took the eyes of our Superintendents off the quality of work being preformed.

It would be better if the checklists were available right from the main screen where the daily report is listed.
