As an ACT! user for years I am extremely disappointed with the changes they have made. While I understand everything is going to a subscription based platform the way they are doing it is terrible. While I had the desktop software that did not require a subscription I was informed it would no longer work or be supported.

They take the money for something that doesn't work, they don't support it any longer (btw its only 3-4 years old) and then when you complain they try to force you into another, more expensive upgrade.

I have no use for, like marketing automation and reporting. And I still don't know what the Timeline is for.

There is no app on my phone in order to look up customers or companies.

I am having multiple problems with it and the back-end support is not fixing any of the issues (over 1 year).

Advanced query look-up is cumbersome and does not work as well as it did in prior versions, in fact I can't get it to wok at all.

It gives an error prompt and to shut the application down.

I love the linkage of sent/received emails into History.

It has changed in its exterior offerings but the core has stayed the same.

I have owned many versions and just upgraded to the Cloud version.  

The basic functions could have been improved instead of the emphasis on marketing etc.

Most important they solve any issue in a timely manner.

There's nothing I don't like about ACT! but as an independent contractor, there are features in ACT!

I did not like Act Remote database version.
