Pros

Best thing about it is the seamless integration with Gmail and the plugin that it provides within the email. Really like their training / help centre.
My experience with Copper has been great. I have really loved using the tool and I think overall it’s a great management software.
It's easy to use, easy to set up, great customer service, easy to customize, great value and easily the best CRM I've ever used. The Gmail integration is amazing and the whole team loves the product.

Pros

The comprehensive database, the intuitive tools, the ease of deployment - all of these are appreciated about this product.
It is popular and used by a few other businesses that we know, so we considered it and the functionality is good.
Love the email tracking and wonderful having contacts all in the same place. As a solopreneur, it is like having a virtual assistant.

Cons

Worse, the feature is getting worse over time, which points to an out-of-control development process. For a more complete exploration, check this thread.
Any mistakes during data imports caused all sorts of data problems. There is no automating of drip email campaigns.
The company buries a sentence that allows them to charge you for an entire extra year after you cancel, which they don't remind you about (obviously, why bury that clause otherwise).

Cons

Also, there is a hard limit of 1,000 custom fields, which is not something you can even buy more of, which in my opinion is a severe limitation.
Lack of industry specific columns or trackers. Lack of customization to suit the needs of the industry I was in.
There have been multiple times where we lost data and data was unretrievable.

Pretty basic and what you would expect from a CRM

Reviewed 4 years ago

If you are a small business or just starting out, I would go with a free CRM like hubspot. If you are looking for something with more functionality, this is probably not going to cut it.

Pros

We have multiple CRM's over the past year and have currently settled on copper. After using the likes of SalesForce and some of the larger, more sophisticated management systems, my standards are pretty high. What I do like about copper is the ease of use. It is so easy in fact that I was able to show my wife some of the functions so that she could show her boss and even though she is not very tech savvy she immediately picked it up.

Cons

Somewhat limited integrations and their email tracking function is quite poor. When reading a sent email in your out-box, copper considers this an "open" and includes this when calculating the open rate. We already use Yesware for our email cadence so opted to use their email tracking and cadences.

I like the way you can work and communicate in a way that is friendly for most users. The way it is designed besides you can do your work is a fun so you can enjoy.

Pros

Very friendly and fun to work with.

Cons

It needs telephone integration and CRM communication.

Copper is a great CRM for smaller businesses

Reviewed 2 years ago

I loved my experience with Copper, but unfortunately my team switched to HubSpot as our company grew

Pros

The tool has many different integrations that make up for its lack of features compared to other CRMs

Cons

Copper was lacking in terms of features. For this reason, it is better for smaller teams who are simply looking to manage contact lists and send email campaigns

Great CRM for GSuite

Reviewed 4 years ago

Great CRM for Gsuite. Best feature - ability to manage CRM reasonably well straight out of Gmail.

Pros

Tight integration with Gmail and Gsuite. Ease of use. Ability to customize to our workflow + business needs.

Cons

Hard to say. Given our business needs (less sales driven than most), we don't use anywhere near all the functionality so areas like reporting or pipeline management *might* not be great for a larger enterprise...but fine for us.

Vendor response

Now this is the good stuff. Thanks for the glowing review!

Not your best option

Reviewed 4 years ago

Below average, I honestly see very little value in the product and it doesn't scale well with a business at all.

Pros

At the entry-level it is fairly affordable and had decent basic functionality. If a single user or small team has limited knowledge or need for in-depth information and dashboards it provides insight into just the essentials.

Cons

As you start to need a few users/seats, Copper quickly becomes about the same cost as a more powerful CRM like HubSpot, which provides a good free version as a starting point. The functionality is very limited and doesn't provide much use beyond sales, meaning that extra logins for leadership to view and not use are not included so you would have to add additional paid seats or share credentials....

Propserworks does most things better than most CRMs

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

Prosperwork is a cloud based Sales/CRM that functions very similarly to Base CRM. It functions on all desktop and mobile platforms.

Cons

There are some features like text interfacing and documentation that are left off the standard tool. You actually have to purchase more costly plug-ins to have complete functionality.

Solid CRM Solution

It's a great tool for small business!

Pros

How well it links to Google's existing G Suite solutions. It is made to almost look identical to Google Apps as if it was made by Google. It works very well and is a very solid solution!

Cons

It is simple but does not have all of the bells and whistles that HubSpot has. I would still recommend for small businesses

Gmail's best CRM - with a GREAT onboarding team

Mobile, Simple, CRM Gmail integration Call Logging

Pros

We really appreciated the team taking their time with us. We are setting this up over a few locations and getting access to training sessions online and via conference call was really great. We have android phones, are upgrading to Google Suite and are really excited to have a full service INTEGRATED CRM product that is not too expensive and also not too complicated. CALL LOGGING is amazing!! The app works really well and this helps us work while on the go.

Cons

We would love to see integration with caller identification software in the future. Something like TrueCall Also business card scanning would be amazing.

Not the most cost effective CRM out there but the native G Suite integration is irreplaceable.

Reviewed 6 years ago

Incredibly easy deployment and a so far flawless CRM solution.

Pros

The native integration into G Suite put ProsperWorks miles ahead of the rest of the CRM crowd. Deployment was incredibly easy and has all of the industry standard CRM options.

Cons

The lack of a proper admin/management dashboard. As we've grown we've transitioned users to/from roles and changing licenses or managing billing is not as fluid as it should be for a cloud based service. It's could use a refresh with role based access in mind.

We ended up cancelling our account and have started using another CRM.

Pros

What I liked most is that you could create contacts and/or deals. So if we have a customer that has had initial contact, we can input/import them as a contact but we don't have to start a deal for them. This is helpful for when the customer is interested yet and we want to keep their contact information so we can reach back out at a later date.

Cons

The way you set tasks and notes within Copper can be sort of a scramble. If you want to find a specific note, you have to just scroll through the deal until you find it. There is no easy way to search for something specific.
