We signed up with Epos Now Payment Services (Account  [sensitive content hidden]) on a 12-month agreement, based on a quoted 0.55% card processing rate during the sales process.

Card machine when you take a payment it does not make any noise, you can only use one card machine to take transactions from the pos system

The thing I like the least about Epos Now is that it is set up primarily for food service, so we can't change some of the places in the machine that say food/drink, etc.  And also, we wish the time was able to be adjusted to 12 hour time instead of 24 hour.

Also glad to see that up grading the system to help business to have an easier time and be able to help more customers as well as being able to send more time with our families and less time doing reports or uploading items into the system.

Customer support was slightly slower if you weren’t located in the Uk as most of the support was done virtually and the time difference hindered real time support needs.

Just 6 months in with eposnow and a very rocky start, eposnow have increased their payment processing fees for credit cards by 68% with the only justification being that this is allowed according to the contract.

Functionality, sits alongside current card payment system (DOJO) easy to set up, UK based support team - who answer your calls to their 0800 number without sending you through loads of multiple choice options before speaking to a human!

Having regular updates that would happen automatically. And staff compared to a sales graph or table (in takings and who was clocked in) would be helpful to someone like me who manages it from a separate company.

training is also provided which is extremely helpful. If you are in doubt of which till and inventory system to go with, Epos Now is the way forward!

Marketing material false - the system does not work well for certain indusries.

the till is tall and our smaller member of staff has to reach up (as cons go this is not really one)

I get many solicitations to check out other products but I inform those companies that they are wasting their time.

In the mean time this company has STOLLEN fees from my client, double charged them and On top of this they think it's appropriate to charge a early cancellation fee.

Works well for our needs at a great price!   When I call (which is not often) for help, the customer support is outstanding.  

While the system is generally user friendly , occasional software glitches and the need for more responsive customer support can be frustrating at times.

You will call to resolve any issues and you will be put through to a service representative that will not be in the UK and will have very limited knowledge of how to fix your issue, except for reading text on the screen in front of them.
