Hubilo enable to have thousands of people joining the virtual event at the same time without issues of lagging or disruption.

One of our biggest issues was trying to play an “on-demand” video while having the speakers available for live Q&A after.  

He replies even out of his business hours to advice on any questions we have.

It also ensures the high-quality of long-video (up to 3 hours) for better viewer's experience.

As great as it is, there’s some quirks. If more than 3 sessions are happening concurrently, they can become “hidden” behind an arrow you must click to scroll through.  

Second, if it was something new to them (which a few things were), he wanted to spend a little more time trying to understand our needs, and bounced a few ideas off of me or his co-workers to possibly see if there were a way to get what we needed.  

For example, we turned off polling for some of the sessions, but left it on for others, including the event feed.

The breakout sessions via Rooms were a bit complicated so that we ended up not using them since we were afraid attendees wouldn't find the room and come back in time for the keynote to continue; we did not manage to engage attendees to use the Lounge or Event feed at all; it was a big hassle to contact all attendees for updates concerning upcoming events or the like since there is no email functionality except from the invite mailer (which ends up in SPAM all the time); neither Hubilo nor Stripe was able to add another payment method for ticketing so we had to come up with a time-consuming workaround.

Another quirk we ran into is that the Q&A and chat responses have a limited character count.  

We knew we needed to hold "The Healing Trauma Conference" this year, but back when we started planning the event we weren't sure if an in person event would be available.

The online platform and mobile app were very easy to navigate and it's a great platform for connecting/networking with other attendees (the meeting function is intuitive and productive!)

Our suggestions included some little things like adding virtual background feature in virtual meetings, together with some serious asset like on-site hospitality technology (check-in desks, lead scanners, session attendance scanners, etc.).

Before the event, it's essential to have the attendees on board and start socializing with the other attendees to keep the interest alive.

The updates Hubilo made from 2021 to 2022 were tremendous- they listen to and implement user feedback, and i look forward to seeing further updates!

The back-end system is also easy to use even for low-tech person who can change the updates / modify the customized set up.
