MasterControl Clinical Excellence is a cloud-based clinical trial management software designed to help organizations in the life sciences sector manage, track, configure, and store documents, images, and other digital content as an electronic trial master file (eTMF) and streamline clinical operations on a centralized platform.
The application enables supervisors to control the entire clinical trial lifecycle, handle TMF artifacts, tasks, or site data, and gain real-time visibility into ongoing processes. Based on the Drug Information Association (DIA) TMF reference model, the eTMF Manager module lets researchers plan, create, assign, review, and approve TMF artifacts throughout clinical studies. Directors can also manage site protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and reporting across multiple sites as well as teams.
MasterControl Clinical Excellence enables organizations to maintain GCP compliance by conducting audits of programs, studies, vendors, sites, and quality events. It helps research teams manage projects through automated reminders of tasks, milestone progress, and updates. The collaborative platform allows authorized users to share and exchange TMF content with partners and contract research organizations (CROs).
