What is OpenLP?
OpenLP is an open source worship presentation software that is designed to support the playback of multiple video files through VLC integration. Users can create service presentations with text, images, songs, Bible verses, and more, and control playback through native apps for Android and iOS.
With OpenLP, users can create and display custom worship presentations for any type of service. Bible's can be imported in multiple formats, with the ability to search by phrase or scripture reference. VLC integration enables the playing of almost any audio and video file format. Images can be imported into OpenLP, organized into folders, and turned into slideshows through the drag-and-drop interface. Integrations with PowerPoint and LibreOffice Impress also allow users to import and display external presentations.
OpenLP's remote apps for iOS and Android, and responsive interface for mobile browsers, allow users to access services from any touch-screen device to change slides or current presentations, and search for Bible verses, songs, images, and more. The stage view also provides users with a built-in stage monitor accessible through any web-enabled device.
