Pros

It's very affordable and it's ability to have customizations is really helpful. There are a lot of hidden features that can be useful, but are hard to figure out if you are new to using a CRM.
The ability to self-host the platform is fantastic, because it helps keep costs down, and when you work on a small-scale, you don't need all of the processing power of a paid hosted solution.
There are many of reasons why I enjoyed working with SugarCRM. The most enjoyable feature was the ability to input data, save the feature as an report and name it.

Pros

Fantastic user interface, Great functionality and integrations with google calendar are the highlights of this product. We have been able to get great sales insights after embracing Vtiger CRM.
This Software has the nice capabilities of assigning the workflow and also to know the status of the work. Search tool has the good performance enhancements.
It is user friendly, really helpful to save time. Vtiger has menu which includes essential features like mail manager, calendar and etc which are really helpful.

Cons

CE is eternally stuck on version 6.5. And then in April 2018, they've removed it entirely so now you're stuck with the Pro or Enterprise editions which are paid-for.
At the time, Sugar had a Community Edition (free) that you could host on your own LAMP stack... but they wanted to make more money, so they stopped development of that edition, and now it's dead.
The worst part of this software is its complexity.

Cons

Automating the export of data is difficult and painful, and the API is extremely limiting in both functionality and usage limits.
Features that I think should be standard are missing or inadequate.
We have a little overview from our clients, because, a lot of clients are 2 or 3 times in the CRM in cause of a mistake with update.
