The support is good. The features are robust. It has a reliable uptime and few bugs.
It has a reserved seating capacity for ticket sales.
I have to pay a maintenance fee when I am not using it.

Ticket sales for multiple location, multiple events, multiple users
Ease of use for both tickets sales and ticket tracking.
Hard to find/use screen at venue day of for day of purchasers. Day of purchasers are not in alpha order, they are listed at bottom which requires seaching for them to check them in.
Erika, it sounds like we had a bit of a glitch while you used us, and I'm sorry we didn't have a better display. Today, we allow ordering in a variety of ways that might make your job easier. Crossing fingers you love the results! Despite that hiccup, I'm thrilled to see you gave us a 10 out of 10 and a five star rating. Thank you for honest feedback that helps us improve.

Thunder Tix was super easy to use. I had never used any ticket management software before and it was very easy to navigate and keep track of our ticket sales!
There were no cons for me! My experience was great!

Ease of ticket sales seat up. Configuration of seating plans. Reporting features.
It is fairly intuitive to set up our ticket sales. I have been impressed with all the features for setting up multiple nights, etc. Our customers have found the interface to be straight forward and easy to operate. It has taken a lot of the pain out of handling tickets. The reporting features after closing night are especially nice.
It is not very easy to block out unavailable seats for certain nights, or reduce the cost of a seat in the case of an obstructed view.

It's very easy to setup, customize and implement ticket sales. It's also easy to make changes to tickets that have already been purchased. I also like the ease of accessing purchased ticket holder information.
The file size for uploading an image seemed too small for what I wanted to use.

We changed to ThunderTix in 2013 from another well-known ticketing service. The transition was very smooth and made our internal operations much easier. Reports are excellent for tracking sales and bookkeeping.
ThunderTix integrates well with our website and makes the ticket buying experience very easy for our patrons. Ticket map shows our semi-thrust venue to our patrons. They offer many options to customize the program for your use.
We have no negative comments. ThunderTix is always ahead of the curve in terms of adding improvements. The feature request board is very helpful.
Steven, I swear you and Gail (another reviewer here) must work for the same organization. Both of you are loving our ease of use! As I mentioned to her, design is a huge component of what we do, and the result is evident in a beautiful interface that's easy for even the most occasional volunteer. Our feature request board allows you to share ideas and vote on others, so I'm glad you're appreciating that page! Keep your ideas coming, so we can continue to meet your needs. Fund and data collection was made easier with this service.
Allowed parents to easily purchase online tickets for our Harlem Wizards Fundraiser. In addition, it allowed us to easily sort the data we needed for our event.
Additional details to differentiate product from ticket options would have been helpful.
Remember learning to ride a bike? We tried to create ThunderTix so it wasn't THAT hard! I'm gad you found it easy, Kimberly. :) Thanks for a great review!

With this software we were able to run our online ticket sales ourselves. Eliminating the middle person that was charging us a ridiculous amount of money. We are so pleased with the outcome. We broke our all time online ticket sales.
So easy to use and set up! Customer service is fantastic.
There really wasn't any cons that we experienced. We have only used it for one event and it was really flawless
There it is again, "Customer service is fantastic!" They are a force to be reckoned with, aren't they? And I agree, Ricky, with cutting out middle men. Ticket services that charge (and keep) high fees that don't add to your bottom line and hurt your customers is a trend we'd like to help reverse. I hope we continue to help break records with you!

We would highly recommend ThunderTix to anyone looking to move to an online ticket system.
ThunderTix is very user friendly and the support team was a great help when we needed them. It was a huge decision for us to move to online ticket sales for our dance recitals and it was the best decision we could have made.

Easy to buy tickets but not easy to work the ticket counter for assigned seating shows.
Easy to buy tickets and have them resent to you.
It is difficult to navigate quickly when each walk-up transaction is different...some want to know there seats/print tickets, others want to buy, others are buying for a different show. You have to go back so many screens to start all over. I wish there was more drop-down menu functions to navigate in less clicks. I wish you could see a seating chart at any point in time via pop-up vs having to leave your transaction when customer asks a seating question.
Hello Kimberly, I'm sorry to hear that your experience is less than you expected. Let's see if we can turn that around! Did you know that at the conclusion of every order, there are "quick links" that allow you to repeat an order in a single click? Have you tried our Calendar interface available from the Event drop down menu? This is a very quick way of navigating different performances. Some of our busiest tours like to open event dates in a new window to keep the handy calendar ready to sell any performance quickly. Ease of use and good graphics, etc. Still some areas needing to be corrected.
Printing out the evenings ticket purchases not complete. We have to manually write in admin. comments. Only way to easily print is using right click on mouse and choosing print. This does not show all of the information needed. Need a better print option. Also, doing an exchange on a season ticket package does not fill in the correct amount and we have to zero out the ticket price so that it is not requesting money to be paid. Only works correctly for single ticket prices.

I would definitely recommend thundertix, especially if you are unfamiliar with ticketing an event (it was my first event hosting experience). Its the easiest and most affordable ticket company out there!

We used ThunderTix for a Harlem Wizards fundraiser event for the high school. We sold 3 levels of tickets, presale merchandise and meals. This app organized everything for me!
Easy to refer to often to track ticket sales. Able to run several reports for various forms of information.
Had to manually manipulate spreadsheets to differentiate totals of individual levels of sales.

We selected Thundertix because they did not charge us on the basis of a per ticket fee. Our customers hated paying add on fees, and Thundertix was the only company that we found that did not charge that way. The produce is easy to use, but most importantly enhancements and changes are made based on client suggestions. They have a forum that you can use to make a suggestion, and vote on other suggestions. We have been using it for five years and have been happy with the enhancements that they have developed. Any problems are dealt with very quickly by the support team.
Has a lot of flexibility for other season ticket passes, private functions, and for displaying ticketing information on our website
Would like more integration options with Canadian merchant gateways

When we selected ThunderTix they were the only online ticket service that we could find that did not charge a 'per ticket service fee' to our customers. That model was vital to our selection as we do not believe online ticketing should be cost a premium over walk-ups. We knew that ticket fees never come down at other online ticketing providers, with some now charging over 50% of the ticket face...

Great system and terrific support team!
It was extremely reliable -- we needed a precise ticket sales start time, as well as a new wait list feature. The system worked brilliantly. It was very easy to navigate and manage all details, including the ticket format, the guest lists, and more. We look forward to working with ThunderTix on future events as well. Thank you!
I can't think of anything I liked least...We are in a unique situation in that our tickets sell out within minutes. The only concern was that the event showed up as sold out before it actually was sold out, because ticket purchasers had the tickets in their carts and there has to be a 10 minute hold time before releasing the tickets if they are not purchased. This is understandable.
Yes, your events do sell out fast, don't they, Kelly! We're considering a change that might reduce the wait time for those seats "on hold", so stay tuned. We continue to make even greater improvements, so hopefully you'll seen that as you you return for your next slate of summer performances. Thanks for your terrific review!

The thing I like most about Thunder Tix is the easy ticket sales for our events that it offers. Back in the day we took phone orders and had to mail out printed tickets. With Thunder Tix the customer orders their own tickets AND is able to prin them right out. And they can even show the ticket on their phone and we just scan it that way. The ease of use to our ticket helpers is also a benefit. We can view a variety of reports and can search within our order by a variety of different options.
There is not too much that I do not like about Thunder Tix. At this time I cannot think of any suggestions for upgrades.

It is extremely user-friendly and has great features to make the experience of ticket-selling easy for the seller and professional for the buyer.
My only complaint would be the kick-out time for buying. It would be great if we could choose the time limit ourselves. Also, the scroll bar for the event listing page needs to be bigger and more prominent.

We are able to offer fair ticket mark-up costs to our customers compared to other ticketing platforms which charge way to much for their services.
We love the price partnered with all the incredible features. Also, Thundertix is ALWAYS working to improve and is ALWAYS adding new and exciting features based on their customers requests. Their customer service is also amazing!
I wish that there was more of a variety of email softwares that ThunderTix software could automatically import to.

Solid response from support when you need it, but it's reliable and easy to manage so rarely need support. I recently recommended to the ticketing team of another event I am part of the team at, and they were very happy with the solution and will be using at more events.
Does everything we need to manage ticket sales for a complex 4 day Beer, Food & Music festival, with camping and supplementary add-ons at a reasonable cost.
General UI experience isn't the best, but it's decent once you get used to it and evrything is there.
Your needs, Jamie, seem to be perfectly in line with what ThunderTix is all about: selling tickets, concessions, add-ons, and everything else within a single system. As you know, we invite our clients to submit their ideas on how we can improve, so if you have specific ideas, please share! In any case, I'm thrilled that it's working for you.
