The bulk database holding capacity and simple system  of a funnel which has a good flow of data and upgradation .

The best feature in Vtiger is the sales automation and emails marketing options.

Basic features are all here - also in the standard edition. But you have to buy many addons to get this working (e.g. pdf-Export) for daily work.

We use the free self install edition and have great integration with 3rd party adding which allow us to get our invoices and documents signed digitally.

Vtiger CRM's contact management feature is very much helpful and most used feature of this CRM as maintaining multiple contacts across the globe is very much hectic thing to operate and Vtiger CRM does it quite efficiently.

When starting out, Vtiger pretty much covered all the sales automation needs we had using the existing modules and very little custom work was required which is what you need as you get to know a piece of software.
