Its purpose is to analyze proposed payments before the bank is instructed to proceed with the transaction. By integrating into these payment and approval processes, VigilantPay automates rigorous checks and ensures separation of duties. The best part is that there is no need for IT integration. You can have VigilantPay up and running within just a few hours.
During the crucial approval stage, VigilantPay conducts a series of cross checks in a matter of seconds that would be humanly impossible to perform in real-time. Not only does it detect erroneous payments, but it also brings attention to other control issues.
To accomplish this, VigilantPay receives payment batch files from the company's accounting and payroll system. It then employs various algorithms and AI capabilities to review and compare the bank accounts associated with each proposed payment. If any suspicious transactions are identified, VigilantPay promptly notifies the appropriate authorizer and/or owner, enabling further review prior to payment.
