Since I've used the product when it was called unreal editor, I like that you can rapidly make prototypes test your design and then change it to fit the needs of development. Plus you can use pre-made models or import characters and landscapes from Maya.

There are far too many unfinished features.

It is hard to get to know and it is pretty hard to understand the layout at first glance.

Also, the capability to integrate and compose video feed in real time, and get in camera VFX, is one of the most giant leaps in film and television development in decades.

I had no prior experience creating my games but gave them a shot.  

We create the animations  in iClone, then use the live-link feature to send the animations over to Unreal Engine for rendering

The most I like of this is the possibility to animate in real time with all the textures and lights in place, making changes in real time when you need it.
