What is Patently?
Patently is an AI-enabled workspace for patent search, projects, creation, and more. It offers a search experience by Vector AI, allowing users to combine different searches and locate patents using semantic search. Patently also provides collaborative project management features, a claims editor, and a generative AI assistant called Onardo to help streamline the patent application process.
Users can combine exact match terms from full text with semantic search queries and integrate results from multiple searches, including those sourced from third-party providers. The forward and backward (FAB) browser further exposes the citation links that connect patent families, allowing users to traverse family-to-family connections over multiple generations.
Patently's project management features enable collaboration and lets users add comments, ratings, and customizable reports on patent families and individual assets. The platform's hierarchical project categories and access control features ensure organized and secure sharing of sensitive information. For patent creation, the solution's AI-enabled drafting tools, including a claims editor, figures editor, and the generative AI assistant Onardo, help produce patent applications in a streamlined manner.
