Toca is built on a proprietary development kit, which is provided as part of each Toca platform via a browser based IDE. This allows developers to code natively in C# and TypeScript, to create, edit and publish new integrations, automation actions and application components, directly to the platform, for use in the drag & drop no-code design environments.
This Open Source style approach enables contribution and extension of Toca components, allowing developers to extend the platform on the fly as well as creating the opportunity for developers and partners to create and share components with Toca customers.
Toca Hub acts as a marketplace where these components can be shared and downloaded on-demand.
