My experience has been exceptional, it is a powerful tool for managing accounts within salesforce ecosystem.

If you are considering - I would list out IN DETAIL all pieces you currently have and expect to retain in the Acctg Seed.  

Even with an accounting background the system can be quite difficult.

There is a bit of learning curve in the beginning however once everything is set up it becomes reliable and efficient solution.

It;s steep learning curve, especiaaly for users who are not familiar with salesforce.

The only thing I don't like is that the credit card processing is external, so for the recurring billing, I have to manually process those billings.

Accounting periods and transaction dates aren't locked in sync, which can throw off balances depending on how a report is run.

Whatever you're trying to push the system to do probably can be done, if you can find someone who's able to figure out how. If you have other SFDC-resident packages, you can probably get them to integrate, but expect to spend big for the custom flows that will be necessary.

Something that is difficult at first is connecting the banks with the platform, it is not that easy, you have to try many times since it does not always synchronize the first time.
