These guys could seriously improve their customer service - even their "dedicated" customer service (which I suspect is more of a marketing ploy rather than any real dedicated service personnel) routinely either does not answer emails, or skips them altogether.

I had multiple international clients run into issues with the wording and coding to get the wire transfer to get processed.

It integrates *almost* seamlessly with our accounting platform and allows our team to process their card transactions and monitor their budgets as real time as possible.  

The merchant categories don't always reflect the goods/services purchased from the vendor, which can be confusing.  

For whatever reason, when you go through the online portal to close your account, you will see an 'Account Closed' confirmation on your page, but be warned: YOUR CREDIT CARDS ARE ALLOWED TO REMAIN OPEN TO CHARGES!

I don't give praise where it isn't due and Brex gets a very well deserved two thumbs up for me.   If I were at Capital One I would have snatched them up as well!

The international payment fees are a bit high.

The rewards that were offered early on to utilize the platform have diminished for even us as leagacy users.

I liked the design of the physical credit cards and the ability to upload receipts and track spending all on the dashboard.

There was no alert to the user that one MUST CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE TO HAVE YOUR CARDS CLOSED.

Brex artificial intelligence helped us automate expense models, whereby recording expenses in detail and sending them for approval and also archiving them on the cloud is done quickly, and tracking spending at the enterprise level has become easier, as reports include expenses in detail, which enables decision makers to make decisions and also ensuring that spending is done correctly and within specified budgets.

We try to put in place guardrails for their spending using Brex, but sometimes run into issues.

The credit limit is variable which is at times good but the way it is calculated is opaque and leaves you guessing how much you have available to spend.

Ahh, Brex loves to promote their Capterra and other reviews after soliciting these from small business. But now that they've got their reviews, it's time to burn the small business owner.

Probably just have the option to allow mark invoices as lost instead of getting eternal nagging from notifications.

You can also easily set up multiple approvals and see the status of your expense reimbursements.

It certainly cannot be your only form of payment, you need to have a backup payment method ready especially when you are traveling.

The ability to create multiple digital cards is super convenient for contract employees.

They do this so that they can have access to ALL of your financial data without making that clear or transparent during the integration process.   If you read their terms and conditions carefully as you attempt to integrate your accounting software, you'll notice what I am talking about.

They use their massive bonuses and promotions to lure in new customers and then collect all of their customer's spending data by having the customers integrate accounting software while giving up total privileges to Brex (see my first paragraph in this section) and using Brex cards to make all of their business purchases.
