Clio is great because it helps me manage all of my back office functions seamlessly and communicate with clients easily for a fair and reasonable price.

Clio is constantly evolving, improving and innovating to improve the Customer (law firm) experience, consequently enhancing clients' matter outcomes and the client experience.

We use Clio and quickbooks and all transactions have to be inputted a certain way or it will disrupt the accounting.

Clio is intuitive and provides excellent document management, client relationship management, timekeeping and billing all in one platform for a reasonable price with no long term commitments.

Worst of all, after setting up a document template in Clio Grow for client intake with our office (30 people), Clio restricted some of the functionality of that document making it even more awkward, to the point where it's unusable for us.

Clio does not migrate this data.   Despite me saying this is the one report I want, and being reassured I could get it.   When they could not generate it, they just told me to hire an outside consultant.  

I would like to be able to email things to the maildrop address from anyone within my domain.   And I would like to be able to e-file from my Clio profile EVEN IF my service email address is NOT my profile email address.

Not only do I organize my digital client files in Clio, I track all my payments and trust accounting, I am able to have team member accountability through task tracking, we have regular and effective communication with the clients through the Clio Client portal.   When I'm using Clio, it helps me be a better lawyer, it helps me focus more on my clients, and keep my clients happy through great communication.

I started with simple document automations with Manage and Clio continues to acquire new features to aid in running my firm and continues to refine those features.

It has evolved into a whole practice tool, including matter management, automation and CRM management.

We paid extra for use of their CRM called Clio Grow and its a primitive software compared to Salesforce, Hubs, monday sale CRM, pipedrive, etc.

Clio is also very innovative, trying to leverage AI to make life easier without stepping into having AI trying to replace lawyers.

The platform is not suitable for Australian practitioners — it is very US-centric and doesn’t align with our requirements.

It provides multiple payment methods which is helpful in getting bills sent to client and paid.

Some features require extra clicks to access, and occasional syncing delays with third-party integrations can be frustrating.

If you are OK with information randomly disappearing and you don't care about he accuracy of your data, and you don't expect tech support to help when the system crashes - then you may not be too badly disappointed.

We have shortened the time to receive payments from clients using Clio Pay.

There are still some places that need development in order to meet our needs as a mid size firm.

What I like least about Clio is that there is not an easy way to invoice a client who has hired the firm on a flat rate instead of hourly.  

times out of 10, it can answer my questions while also showing me step by step how to it.

Accounting feature does not offer payroll; Clio Draft is not easier than using the built-in document automation.

Time tracking and invoicing are easy to use, and the client portal allows for paperless practice and document management.

The more non-billing personnel you have and the more users you need makes the program cost outweigh its convenience and lack of flexibility.

They are evaluating an offset of my fees, but no promises, and no solutions as of yet.

Clio document management and the billing and invoicing is easy to use and is helpful.

The need to sync back and forth between Grow and Manage and the appt booking does not constistently stay up to date with my calendar.

Clio tech support is worthless and is never aware of any issues brought up to them about the software, no matter how debilitating the issue may be, and they endlessly put you on hold to "talk ton their team" while stalling and asking for more screenshots of the issue, only to tell you a week later that they can't help you.

It captures all of the information needed to work on a file in one place and allows me to be much more productive.

With working out of office frequently their cloud based platform allows me to access everything I need from anywhere, which is incredibly convenient.

The mobile app seems to have limitations compared to the desktop version, which can be frustrating when traveling and accessing information on the go.

Clio gives us flexibility to handle various case types while maintaining consistent practices throughout the firm.  

Also, when a payment has been applied to a bill, the bill still shows the outstanding amount on the first page as the original total.

Clio as a platform is very organized and constantly evolving to suit a law firms needs. If there is ever an issue, Clio's employees are very attentive and help remedy the situation

My law firm needed more overall so we switched systems but I’m sure I would’ve still enjoyed Clio just the same.

Clio is the only product I would ever use for law firm management.

It connects in such a myriad of ways that I can find connections I did not even realize existed between clients and people on other cases.   When you're in a small community, that is very helpful!!

The cost. And that if you buy a year's license, and someone leaves, you are stuck with the license. Why??
