Divvy has been wonderful for our business as our sales reps do a lot of outside travelling. Being able to load funds directly onto their personal card and limit use has been a life saver.
The ease of use and the customer support has been unmatched.
New reports should be created. Specifically a report so you can run past payments made

Our company can easily see where and by whom the money is spent in real time and we can set the amount on how much each person spends.
I was able to roll out company wide usage in a matter of weeks. The software is intuitive and employees reported back to me that they enjoyed using it.
Integrating ACH payments was cumbersome and we had several vendors confused about how they were getting paid.

Overall Divvy is very easy to use and set up. Within a day or two I had a complete understanding of how to use their product and was set up with everything from payment accounts and budgets to my own personal business credit card. I highly recommend it to those looking for a quick and easy expense management tool.
Quick and easy to set up new cards and make payments to vendors quickly
Navigation can be a bit difficult at times, but overall great.

Using Divvy makes tracking and applying costs exponentially easier! Employees in the field can easily and quickly share what their purchase was for. This has helped our accounting and job costing be SO much more accurate!
On one of our accounts (we have multiple) our payments take a few days to post, which can tie up funds.

So far, so good. New corporations with no credit history have the option to build credit with a prepaid card.
Virtual cards for one-time or recurring use; expense and budget management; streamlined reimbursement; no fees; responsive customer support; rewards; easy integration with QBO; ability to build business credit
ACH transfers take too long. Wish we could transfer funds from PayPal directly to Divvy for payments. QBO tags for transactional line items cannot be mapped at this time.

It's been great for submitting payments to different software we use. As mentioned previously it's very easy to use and we love that we are able to create virtual cards.
It is very easy to track purchases since we have several different virtual cards for different software. I also like how there are budgets set up to put employees into certain categories.
So far we have not experienced any cons. We just started using this software.

Overall Divvy is quite great and has incredible function with no personal guarantee and works for businesses of all sizes.
I enjoy Divvy because of the incredible opportunity presented to my small business and the ease of management. It also allows me as the owner to provide my employees with access to funds.
I don’t like the mobile app because it becomes a bit confusing with what’s the budget vs the available credit. It also doesn’t process payments immediately which has caused a few problems for me in my personal experience.

Being able to have cards for the people who need them without worrying about how much is being spent with the budgets each card has. Using virtual cards to reoccurring payments is awesome.
the alerts for uncategorized expenses is annoying and once a budget is closed you can't edit them. So you just have a red alert sitting there.

The client services are excellent the software takes a holistic approach to ensure it meets your individuals business needs!
The User Interface is simple and easy to follow. It makes it easy for my team and myself to know where the money is going. It also makes monthly payments much simpler because everything goes on Divvy and then they automatically withdraw payment monthly!
The software is robust and meets all my companies needs!

We liked the ability to customize spend categories to better understand expenses for each of our church ministries. We have not been using long, but this will go a long way in establishing budgets and tracking expenses. The ease of setup and use is great. I use other accounting software for work, and other personal credit cards, but nothing comes close to the ease of tracking and reporting through Divvy.
Would like the ability to have budgets set for weekly rollover, as we are able to pay the account balance in full weekly. This would help to truly show what is available to spend, as minimum budget rollover is a month. Would also like quicker posting of payments to show against available balance.

Divvy is a unique tool that provides an all-in-one solution for your needs. In addition to issuing the card, they also handle all of the associated expenses. All of our expenses are now coded in Accounting so that our field workers can simply submit receipts and a business reason and move on.
Because it is so user-friendly, this program has completely changed the way we track our expenditures and enter our data. Because each employee may now input their receipts, it has saved our accounting department many hours of labor each month. Divvy is a fantastic service. It's simple to pick up. I was worried I'd be disoriented, but a quick scan of the area turns up everything I need.
ACH transactions are taking too long to process. We'd want to be able to send PayPal monies straight to Divvy for payments. It is not possible to map QBO tags for transactional line items at this time. Improvements are constantly needed, just as with any other piece of software. Divvy is always striving to improve the procedure.

It has eliminated missing receipts and automatically posts expenses to our accounting system (Quickbooks Online). Virtual cards eliminate overcharges and fraud.
We have had problems with volunteers and staff turning in credit card receipts. That is now a thing of the past - finally! It has totally eliminated that problem. When there is a missing receipt, now I know it within a couple days instead of a couple months. The users love it too because they don't have to worry about saving and turning in receipts as well. Just take a picture of it at the time of sale and they are done! The recent integration with Quickbooks was HUGE for us. Now most data entry of expenses is automatic as well. Very easy to use most of the time, and it's free!
Getting the hang of allocating budgets can be tricky. And if you have a budget used by multiple people it presents additional challenges trying to allocate funds between multiple people. Auto payments take a few days to free up funds. And virtual subscription cards don't reset until first business day of the month, which can be a problem if charges are attempted on the 1st and it is a weekend.

I love the automation it creates for all of our expense reports. I also love the ability to make changes to spending limits, or accounts directly on the website. Any other card, we would have to get on the phone with customer service to make these changes, which was headache and a waste of time. I love the digital cards we can create for our online payments/ transactions.
The recurring vs one-time limits were hard to get used to. This has improved over the last couple of years though.

This card was selected only because we wanted an expense reporting system that didn't cost any money and then we've found other benefits to the card so we've distributed it further than we had orginally anticipated.
Love that we can snap a picture of the receipt and do away with taping receipts to paper! Also, like the "instantly code" an expense rather than waiting until the end of the month to code all credit card charges. Love the budget by card feature so allow small charges to be made by individuals who would not normally get a credit card - giving them a limit to buy some gas or supplies is much better...
The fact that we need to select a category and then subsequently select and account is an unnecessary step - we just want to code our charges to an account directly. Also - splitting charges between departments and codes is not possible within the application which is a problem for us. Also - the credit card payments are pulling weekly from our bank so we aren't getting the cash float we used to get by paying at the end of the month.

We've loved Divvy. It has given flexibility to those that travel while giving the flexibility to get things done without having to worry that one of the 3 corporate credit cards is floating around being used by a random employee.
Divvy has been great for our organization. We have been able to move away from reimbursements and have been able to give spending flexibility to everyone within our organization. We love being able to give every employee a card, but not having to worry that they are going to overspend. And possibly, one of my favorite features of any software ever is the ability to create virtual cards (both for subscriptions and burner cards for one time purchases). Its nice to know that I can cancel a virtual card and not have it affect other vendor payments.
There is a little bit of a lack of hierarchy available (like an administrator over certain budgets only) and a lack of flexibility with paying down our account (holds placed on account effectively freezing our cards) but other than that, it has been great!

Expense Tracking. Seamless, enjoyable, web and app based features. Budgets. Seamless, enjoyable, web and app based features. Customer Service. Doesn't get better than Divvy. Decreased time spent reconciling, tracking, and other tedious tasks on credit cards easily by greater than 75%.
We switched from an old Visa card with no online functionality, lengthy customer service calls, and overall nothing more than a working credit card. Not to mention, it took 3 months to set up automatic payments every time we opened a new card. Switching to Divvy was easy, free, and seamless. In an organization with 20 credit cards, they've saved us dozens of hours each month, improved accountability,...
I have no improvements for Divvy. I cannot think of any scenario where it would not be appropriate.
