In some ways, it's simplistic nature can be a limitation. But overall, in a generally immature risk environment the simple nature allows for greater adoption making it accessible to non risk experts

The most impactful feature by far is the level of customisation available straight out of the box, particularly with the Enterprise PRO subscription. This is of immense help if you are iteratively building out risk profiles for the first time. GOAT Risk couldn't be easier to use and is super intuitive for risk and non-risk professionals alike.

The Enterprise PRO version would benefit from the addition of an individual control RAG rating, in addition to the overall control effectiveness rating. This will help Managers better identify control hotspots at a glance.

Ease of use and ease of deployment, no training needed whatsoever

Some of the functionality was a bit basic but that's also a pro

I most liked the reporting options which allowed me to assign risks to more than one reporting structure (e.g. risks are tagged to the profile of their individual register, but can handle multiple 'tags' which allows me to extract by committee as well (to multiple committees where required)). Also it was really easy to set up, and it is really good value for money

There are options for reporting, but it would be great to be able to create and add your own reports and edit the report templates. Once extracted i am manipulating the data in microsoft office to display it according to our own reporting templates (e.g. in excel and powerpoint)

It is very simple and easy to use. The limited features are straight to the point, not a whole lot of admin, categories, or other distractions. It is even possible to turn off the features we don't use, so they don't get in the way.

The set of reports and options on the reports could be larger.

Thanks so much for the review @Jorgen. It's funny how simplicity is one of the hardest things to achieve with software because the inherent trade-off is to limit features and flexibilty. The report options are a case in point, it is very simple in that there are only a handful of report options to choose from which we feel are the staples but if you have other report ideas and options you'd like to build in, we can speak about custom developments whenever you are ready.

User friendly interface and processes, fast onboarding, excellent customer service

There is no specific feature that I liked the least. The product is great.

The platform is easy to use, dynamic and supports the teams to understand and effectively lead and manage risk in the organisation. It allows non risk experts to achieve a capability and understanding of their critical part in the risk environment.

No issues with the Goat Risk platform at all.

The product is very easy to use and it was really helpful that we were able to trial it before we signed up.

It would be good to have recurring actions on there.

It includes risk theory without being overwhelming. We have noticed that people with no formal risk management training were able to use the product.

None, the developers are always open to suggestions.

Overall the tool is very easy to use and implement, especially for small to medium-sized organizations looking to "get off spreadsheets" and manage and report risks in a more automated fashion. The tool allows us to create multiple Risk Profiles specific to our organization's requirements. The standard reports are a great out-of-the-box solution. And yet, we are finding the need for some custom reporting to support the requirements of our Senior Leadership team and other stakeholders.

Its intuitive, easy to navigate and find your way around without much training required. The Dashboards and Risk Register reports are great providing a clear view of the risk assessment, risk exposure and all linked items (such as actions, controls, KRIs) in one place.

Control assessment/rating is at all controls only rather than each control separately, No Risk Event reporting directly into the system, additional boxes to record relevant risk event data, and reporting extraction into EXCEL not just PDF

I like that the software is intuitive and simple to use without over complicating the risk information which is needed from each risk owner.

Due to the fact we have to create multiple reports with multiple contributors with varying formats, the pdf reporting functionality doesn't suit our reporting processes. Having the ability to download the report into Microsoft word would allow us to better customise the risk report, dependant on the audience who is reviewing it.

Very simple to deploy and use, the ability to assign the risk and actions to risk owners and have the program automatically follow them up is appreciated.

The ability to tun on and off the three types risk (treated, untreated and target) will reduce clutter when presenting risks to the board or in other formal presentations.

You might be able to try adding a drop down menu in the templates to address the different types of risks but if this doesn't quite do it, then let me know if you want to discuss a small custom development project. In the controls description field not enough of the text is visible while typing. Inability to delete templates. Inability to copy or duplicate a risk

The application has been very simple to implement within the company, and the support from [SENSITIVE CONTENT] has been great. It is an intuitive product and our managers have been able to pick it up with minimal training. Having the ability to create and use custom fields has been useful for us.

Not being able to add our our titles to custom reports was disappointing, however I can completely understand the limitations following a chat with [SENSITIVE CONTENT]. We have found a workaround, which meets our requirements locally.

Exceptionally easy to use tool, no training required.

It is relatively easy to set up and start using. And the standard reports are really useful!Personally I like the "Trend and Executive Summary" part as this is what I use in my reporting to the board and owners. Support from the vendor is excellent. They respond very fast to any question or issues.

It does not include a archive function for closed risks. It is important to also have a overview of risks that is sorted/mitigated during and not at least in the end of a year.

The thing I like most is the ease of use but also the visual outputs / reports it provides without any set up needed.

My least favourite thing about the product was setting up the initial templates.

Thank you for for the great review, we completely understand configuring the system is the least easy thing to do in GOAT as this is only done seldomly by the Administrator. You've probably figured it out by now but we also have a step by step guide to Creating Templates in our Training and Support section of the system.

Lack of configurable options 'out the box'.

Really helpful in structuring the risk management approach, also, user friendly and very intuitive

No possibility to have geography categorisation , not convenient for large group if it is to be cascade in different regions and production site.
