It can be confusing when you have multiple entries in the same week that have the same description, it formats a bit differently and it can be tricky to tell immediately if you input it correctly

I often confuse the date from the week date  picker for entry from the week date picker for the view just below it and have entered information on the wrong dates and have to go back and correct.

What I like most about Minute7 is that the software is extremely easy to use and very self explanatory.

For example, we bill hourly in most cases, however we also often work n fixed fee projects.

There are a number of fields in Minute7 that are mandatory that shouldn't be (Expenses are not required to be assigned to a Job) nor do we have the ability to specify expenses as Items (Job Related - with the associated Item Type Selection) or Expenses (Overhead).

Also, it didn't require that I get set up as an employee to perform my time entry (whereas most every other time-entry system did).   As I am the owner, and not an employee, it was very important that I be able to have a system that allows me to enter my time without the need to file employee tax forms with the IRS through the software.

I use a Windows PC as my primary machine, an Android phone as my primary mobile device, and an iPad as an e-reader and testing platform.

The software has a nagging bug in that it doesn't flag time entries when it exports into QB On-line as taxable items.   When I go into QB, I have to go through every entry and apply the taxable flag.  

Overall it is positive, a feature I would request is the ability to correlate the customer/job field with the service field so that when I pick a customer/job from the dropdown the service field would auto change to a default for that customer.

Lack of connectivity to more than one application.   When updates/upgrades are done, they often change the data so that any connections via CSV or Excel import/export are changed, accents missing from letters, extra space, order of fields exported.....

I also like that I can search using tags and keywords, so for instance, I can know that I used X amount of PTO time, etc.

With our busy schedule, we tend to forget entering the number of hour/s we worked but thanks to the Minute7 reminder feature, I receive an email dot 7AM Eastern saying, 'don't forget to enter your hours for yesterday',..so overall a pretty cool tool to login your hours.

Occasionally it glitches and won't allow me to add time to the already started time card forcing me to add another entry each day.

After a project is entered in Quickbooks and synced with Minute7, the various groups (project managers/field staff) have to be given access to the project (via restrictions).

It integrates easily with Quickbooks, allows for ease of use when entering client time, has custom reports available, and the price point is right.

In general, after importing expenses into QB we are having to manually touch entries to align with how we need to account for our expenses.

Sometimes, there are features within the platform that are hard to locate and the weekly entry feature can get confusing if you are not on the correct week while logging your time.

However the integration needs to track OT better.

It does appear to have a number of features to enable very granular tracking of time - though our business needs don't really require their use.

You need to add GST functionality so that when employees enter expenses they can nominate if those expenses have GST.

It has evolved into a great timekeeping system with reporting that is a terrific help when looking at trends or client timesheet work.

It requires internet to sync up and you have to make sure to double check the date because it is left on what you entered previously.

Seems like ALL program accounts have to get carried over to Minute7, which is a pain for us because a lot of our accounts are just Material, or for some other reason are not eligible for Labor charges.

The cursors also jumps around, so I have to go back into the menu to click the remainder of the Quality functions within the system.

Not my place to address the "bigger" business issues, but it does allow for easy tracking of time project-by-project.

The software has worked for the most part, but several times it has been unable to Sync with Quickbooks, and it took several days of back and forth to resolve it.  

Easily synced up with every client and item in Quickbooks and has saved hours in data entry in just a few months.  

Minute7 allows you to easily pull reports on all projects or one account.

Especially at the change of a month, it resets to the first week of the month so you must click back to see jobs from the months before.

I like that this software integrated with my desktop QB and the sync is seamless, for the price it can't be beaten.

Great features where I can limit employees to logging hours only on the items that have their rate.

I do not like how at times the software automatically goes to a monthly displace and I am required to change it back to week.

Credit card is entered correctly and is active. When I try to reset, I get an error message that doesn't let me change it.
