We had to collect over $150,000 from past payments because of your setup error which you blamed on clover … bottom line if we never switched to stax I would be $12,000

I requested a two month membership refund (which wouldnt even cover the cost of money I had to borrow to float this cashflow nightmare) and they refused. If you own a small business and credit card processing is an important part of cashflow DO NOT USE STAX

Portal access can't be set up for different locations by me (admin) and we have to reach out to a STAX rep to get this set up.

The all-in-one platform is also incredibly user-friendly, integrating everything from invoicing and recurring billing to a virtual terminal in one dashboard.

My only complaint is they have not updated system to integrate with auto matching payments to QB in 8 years....maybe needs a little more research/development.

Stax did not activate the auto batch as promised costing the practice over $200,000 in loss income, which took about 1 month to  get back.

The thing I like least about Stax is that is does not integrate with Quickbooks by auto matching the transactions.

While Stax is becoming a larger and larger you still maintain communications with their fantastic US based support team who will do EVERYTHING in their power to chase down any issue you may have.

Rate changes can be hard to follow however that is due to the underlying processor changing and Stax works with you to ensure smooth processing.

It took months and proably 20+ emails and 20+ phone calls just for Stax to tell us they're keeping the more than $10,000 in improper fees charged to us after we have in writing that these fees would not be added back to our accounts.

The website is clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate, making day-to-day management straightforward even for someone who isn't particularly tech-savvy.

Took me 14 days to for them to release my funds. But you can bet they took there fees and monthly membership out right on time (before they released the funds).

I was told everything would automatically transfer over from our old processor.

Also, I'm a private practice owner, so I think that Stax isn't primarily meant for my type of business, so that has made it a little tricky.
