Pros

It's a user friendly service with great customer care, wonderful service if u have a small business.
Fields to fill and perfectly links the data from one end like ap and AR to the bank reconciliation. Great reports on transactions for the month or period if interest.
We love that it helps us streamline efforts, is easy to use, and is easy to train others on. QuickBooks Online has definitely been one of the best technology pieces of our administration.

Pros

The most important thing like about this software is the user interface and ease of using it. It is flexible to customize to business standards.
I think it is really a perfect software for the financial management. I recommend this software for financial management.
If I needed any direction or how to input. I enjoyed being able to save certain layouts.

Cons

This is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable from the company that is supposed to have your books.
The problem is that doing your own taxes online becomes risky the more you have to account for.
Other than tracking my expenditures, the whole system is a pain. Error messages constantly received because "there's a message from your bank" bla bla bla.

Cons

Writing your own reports is challenging due to a lack of documentation of how and where the system stores data. Ever since implementation, we have had to fight very hard for even simple fixes.
The only thing that is bothersome is that it tends to time out frequently causing me to continuous have to re-log in.
We use this software to manage all of the finances for the university. It has allowed for deep reporting but it is a struggle at the micro level just to tell what you have bought.

Quickbooks is our Go-To Accounting Package

As stated above, we rely on QB Online for our financial software. We have it tuned to make reporting our IRS 990 report each year in a simplified way.

Pros

We are a nonprofit. We use QB for keeping accounts including restricted accounts within our organization. We track income and expenses plus balance our books, with the assistance of CPAs who use the product on our behalf. It works for us and has for over 15 years.

Cons

The donor (customer) tracking does not lend itself to modern donor management. For that we switched to a CRM (Bloomerang). We import our financials from Bloomerang and go from there in tracking financials

The software is Easy to use, the ability to export information to excel is excellent and when there is an issue, the Customer Service team is very helpful

Cons

Reporting is good but not outstanding. There are a number of templates that provide good reporting, but if you are looking for something unique or non standard, there isn't a good Report Generator tool

Getting things done with financials in an easy to understand way.

Pros

I work on computers, not taxes. So when searching for a tool to do all the book keeping in a self run small business years ago quickbooks was the only viable solution. They make their tools easy, integrates into their other tools like TurboTax and their customer support is amazing.

Cons

Price could be a bit lower for some tiers but you get what you pay for.

Pros

Great tracking and ease of categorizing. Plenty of reporting options. Review options are excellent

Cons

When you categorize something after a split, you are unable to put in different notes per transaction - instead you have to go into the item once it is posted and edit the other line with the proper notation - and not just have the same note as the first line.

It helps me easily take care of the financials of my business.

Pros

I love the value that Quickbooks offers. we receive all that we need as a small business to run reports, send estimates, and track sales for end of the year purposes. I recommend this as a solution for small and large companies because they have more developed plans for more complicated needs. I like how I can link transactions from credit cards, Paypal, and Square.

Cons

There is a moderate learning curve with Quickbooks in general. If you have used it in the past, it will come more quickly. There have only been a handful of times in 2 years when the software has been a bit buggy. Usually the updates take care of the issue though in a timely manner.

It's perfect for helping prepare our taxes and keeping all of our financials organized

Pros

Quickbooks is very intuitive and easy to use. It syncs along with our TMS (Transportation Management System) for easy transfer of invoices and bills to keep track of our financials.

Cons

One thing that I wish it had was a reverse sync where changes made in quickbooks would transfer back into our TMS system. Instead all changes that are made in QuickBooks also needs to be made in the TMS instead of just a single change.

Pros

Phone app is very easy to use. Quick to find out info about business income and financials.

Cons

I use the self-employed version, I have to enter payment, and income separately. It does not sync up.

Pros

The software has a ton of features and integrates with my Propet software, which saves me time and money.

Cons

If you are not very familiar with basic accounting, it can be tough to navigate.

It's easy to send reports and information from our Office Manager to our Board. We use it all the time.

Pros

I love being able to log in and access our financials from anywhere in the world on my laptop.

Cons

Honestly, QuickBooks is super easy to use and I generally have no complaints. It's an absolutely affordable option for a few users.

Wish you'd get more for less money.

Pros

It's great to have access to your financials on the go. The features are increasing and improving all the time.

Cons

You must pay extra to get version with some important features (like setting budgets). The product is not a full featured as the desktop version

As a user of Quickbooks Online for several years, I have found the software to be a reliable and comprehensive solution for managing my business's financials. While there are certainly areas for improvement, such as the user interface.

Pros

It is a comprehensive accounting solution that allows users to easily manage their financials, including invoicing, bill payment, expense tracking.

Cons

It can be overwhelming for users who are not familiar with accounting software. The user interface can also be somewhat clunky and slow, particularly when working with large amounts of data.

Great Product

I use it daily to check out cleared checks and balances as well as projecting financials into the future.

Pros

It was extremely easy to port over our old Quickbooks product and the program walked me through the transfer. It was fast and 100% accurate. It is easy to log in and constantly updates. Great Product!

Cons

Nothing I can think of. It is a great product.

Generally pretty positive. No huge complaints, as the service does exactly what I'd expect it to!

Pros

The integrations within the Intuit ecosystem are really helpful in pulling in all of the required data to manage our financials properly.

Cons

I think that the features offered can be improved. Dashboards and realtime reporting would be something amazing to have!

Pros

Quickbooks is very easy to use. Creating invoices take little time and the dashboard gives you a good overview of the financials.

Cons

It is not customizable enough. The invoice layout is not nice with the total amount usually being on its own on the 2nd page. The reports are also not customizable enough.

Quickbooks is the best in the market! They have so many features to support business owners understand their financials, manage payroll and easily stay on top of A/R!

Pros

We love how intuitive QuickBooks is! We can easily manage payroll for our clients, bookkeeping, reconciliations, ROE's etc!! We never have to worry about A/R because it is so easy to create and collect on invoices!!

Cons

We love all the features!!! It's easy for our clients to add us as their accountant and support them with managing their financials and bookkeeping!

inventory control, client management and supplier management is simplified and automated. one is able to track outstanding bills and overdue invoices .

Pros

Customers are able to make safe payments using a variety of options with so much ease. it offers a wide range of options including online payments, mobile payments and even make cash payments directly to your company using Sage 50. Customers can also access their invoices online without having to move to the company.

Cons

Integration with other software is a big problem.
