Very easy website to navigate, good responsiveness of the team, knowledge of the subject matter, cost effectiveness

Property Manager

Easy way to charge back tenants for utility charges

Asst Property Manager

The website is hard to manage and sometimes I can't find my invoices.

Commercial Property Manager

I can depend on the meters getting read monthly and the billings being produced.

convenient, reliable and top notch customer service!

Assistant Property Manager

This makes it easier on me to bill our tenants.

Genea has provided accurate billing for tenants, while we were underbilling for years while doing manual calculations.

General/Property Manager

The delay in receiving the monthly statements and billings, along with the inaccuracy makes it questionable (20%).

Assistant property manager

There are times where I have already submitted the utilty invoice to Genea and then I still get asked to provide the invoice again.

Property Management

In app guidance for reporting meter read ( do I count the digits after the decimal, how do you read digital meters versus analog ) crew has misread meters by adding the digits after the decimal which has resulted in it appearing that the tenant had higher than expected water usage.

Assistant Property Management

Easy for commercial building/ property management

RESA

I really enjoy the easy billing of tenants since Genea does all the work and I just distribute the invoices.

Senior Property Manager

Genea provides a simple and thorough platform for submeter billing.

They take care of all the calculations in figuring out how much the tenant owes.

Associate Director

Tenants that have several meters are charged $25 per meter, I get a lot of complaints for that.

Inaccuracy of billings and/or addresses and/or missing Tenants.

It has definitely freed up my time since I no longer have to create the submeter statements myself.

What I like most is not having to manually bill for the sub-meter utilities.

Ease of pulling up history and tracking data.

Assistant Property Manager

The ease of having statements automatically generated each month.

Overall, I would highly recommend the product and I have expanded our business with them with every building in my portfolio.

Genea does not always meet that deadline.

Property Manager

handles the submetering data collection and invoicing

Hard to customize and implementation data was not easily confirmed at the beginning

I don't like how the invoices are under the Property Manager tab.

I love this software because it saves me a lot of time and is more accurate.

Everyone is always so helpful and their replies to emails are always super quick.

It's not a software issue exactly, but part of the package.

City Clerk

The process of being able to take the credit cards and having it go directly to the accounts is great!

Manager, Operator

Also was pleased when they integrated online billing and payments including the auto pay function.

When I have had to contact them, I have always been able to have a call or an email back from them.

Printing the bills are easy, receipts are easy to print and return to print one if you forget.

Office Manager

Tech support is always so helpful even when it is a user error or something I am unsure how to do.

WE DO NOT NEED THE AUTO SHIPMENT OF BILLS AND IF WE COULD JUST CALL AND ORDER THEM THAT WOULD WORK BETTER FOR US.

The report menu is very useful and informative.

City Admin

For our small city, this software was a game changer.

The program is easy to use and the service is great!

Fiscal Officer

Exceptional, the customer service is outstanding, the ease of entering data is great.

Assistant Clerk

I also like that when customers pay online through GovPortal it transfers over to Rural Billing.

My hard drive recently crashed and customer support was able to help me get back on track and it took no time!
