What is UGAAP?
UGAAP is a lease accounting software for lessees and/or lessors that helps businesses streamline processes related to disclosure reports, journal entries, amortization schedules, cash flow forecasting, classification tests, auditing, and more. It enables employees to create journal entries for the entire lease lifecycle, from commencement to modification and termination.
UGAAP customers can elect either cloud-based or on-premises version, which allows team members to collaborate on projects, share files, and export reports in multiple file formats. The management accounting functions assists management in budgeting. Administrators can set up multiple currencies and maintain a database of historic exchange rates for ROU assets and amortization processes. It allows users to create multiple segments, divisions, subsidiaries, and branches and automatically generate custom folders to store exported reports.
UGAAP's navigation tools let employees conduct keyword searches, validate data, and filter reports based on predefined fields. Managers can use the financial reporting functionality to generate summary, maturity analysis, discount rates, and subsidiary reports.
