I tried Expensify, Xpenditure and Zoho for tracking personal expenses and Xpenditure hit the sweet spot regarding ease of use, features and price. In particular, the Dropbox works well, and any new receipts in my inbox are automatically uploaded and read into my expense reports.
+ Dropbox integration + Clean interface + Reliable scanning of receipts + Responsive support + Good value for money

Xpenditure made my life easier, simple. Scan your ticket with a snap, add some info or Xpenditure will automatically read it for you. Electronic invoices are even easier: just forward them to the Xpenditure and all the relevant info is read. As a result, your administration is done at the source, simplified and automated. We're now exporting all the data to our accountant's software so the input costs are saved too. Just try it, you'll see :)

So far I am pleasantly surprised by the ease of use of this program, and excited to make my quarterly HST reporting so much easier. I have only started using this program, but so far would highly recommend. I am sure I still have so much to learn about all the great features! Canadian friendly!

It is a basic expense management tool. It does not differentiate itself from others enough.
It is a basic expense management tool, not super robust but also easy to use. It gets the job done at a minimum level.
Not as many features are more robust software options. Bad customer support. Not overall a helpful product.

This expense reporting tool saves me tons of time. Instead of typing over receipts into an Excel sheet, I just take a picture of the receipts I receive. At the end of the month, I generate an expense report in just a few clicks.
It was hard to find some settings I really wanted to change, but the support department helped me with that.

Xpenditure really understands the pain of expense management, but it also takes away this pain by a streamlined proces of digitizing receipts with smartphone apps and reporting towards my accountant without any difficulties. At the end of the month my expense report is generated in a nice PDF file.

Customer Support has been incredible, via email and online chat. Virtually Instant. The couple of times where the UI hasn't felt intuitive and I was confused they answered my questions right away.
I like that it links with my bank. And is generally intuitive and looks great. Love being able to select expense reports.
I wish there was a simpler way to track which Items have been put on an expense report/Items that have been paid. Im a Canadian and use a lot of US services so sometimes the exchange of currency doesn't register

For me this tool is a simple and very efficient way to handle all those burdensome expense notes. The risk of
ease of use and perfect reports for the accountancy
Only a few details: pictures of notes are always rotated 90° when I take them. But it's extremely easy to rotate them back

Great way to manage travel and expenses for a small office in which travel occurs often. Definitely has helped make our the process of filing expense and reimbursement forms more efficient.
Rydoo is another travel and expense management app that our office is trying out. Overall, the interface is user friendly and easy to understand.
The auto receipt capture can sometimes be a little finicky and not read all the relevant data, but this doesnt occur too often.

I am a new subscriber of Xpenidture, so far satisfied with swift and efficient customer support, interphase between smart phone and PC seems smooth, simple yet powerful expense management system. I travel extensively throughout the year, scan receipt and manage expense whenever time allows, free myself from tedious stapling and cross checking with statement, etc........

This is a great expense management and reporting app for my small business. The best feature by far is Rydoo's customer service. Additionally, I really love that re-occurring expenses can be integrated into your to-do list automatically so if you're busy like i am or can't access the app, the software is capable of carrying out the expense with your intervention.
It's hard to say since this product is nearly perfect, but if i had to pick one downside I would say that the mobile app has some limited functionality.

I use this software daily for my expense reporting. Having used other software in other companies, Rydoo is much easier and doesn't clutter the user experience. I like that the experience is consistent between the mobile app and the web-based interface.
The only issue I have is that if you don't wait for the expense to show as created after saving, you will lose the uploaded receipt.

This product has helped free up my time from spending countless hours processing expense reports. So far it seems to be a very valuable tool for us.
It is very easy to use. I was able to add one of our employees and with very little instruction they were able to upload and submit expenses.
One feature that would be nice to have is the ability to edit transactions from within a trip. I am still struggling to figure out the per diems but I am sure that will come with time.

Ryddo is my first experience using a expense manager and I am very pleased with the experience, the app itself is very smart automatic data recognition is something else.
Not much of a con since i am learning the app ways, but i felt the mobile application could be better sometimes there is a few information that dont sync properly with the desktop version and the mobile app version

Everything works well until uploading receipt for OCR is not responding. Otherwise it will be one of the best among expense tracking app. Bad thing is I just pay annual fee.
Very intelligence OCR for receipts even hardly recognize by human, easy UI and a good web reporting.

previously we had to sit long time every month on anlysing the expenses. but now it is just on one click. we can also make advances attributable to individuals and sets off their expenses into that.
Now we not have to keep piles of expense receipts for future references. It automatically scans the receipts and post most of the data itself. it can be access from anywhere. it helps me categorize expenses.

Solid expensing software that's pleasant to use.
I like Rydoo's clean interface and find it very easy to use. I like that there are several different ways to create an expense, and that Rydoo will populate fields based on the receipt. It's pretty user-friendly. It's also pretty clear to see at a glance how much money you're waiting on.
Sometimes when you need to edit a submitted expense, you're forced to click "Save" and then "Submit" instead of being able to click the "Save and Submit" button. I'm not sure why there's that extra step sometimes.
