What is FireManager?
FireManager is management software consisting of several modules that are intended to support fire stations in Bavaria in their daily work. Among other things, this web-based application offers functions for device and personnel management.
The personnel administration module helps officers manage members of the active service and fire brigade association. Equipment maintenance functionality focuses on the management of fire fighting equipment and other inventory, planned decommissioning, and maintenance. FireManager also supports users with units for planning and managing instruction. To streamline financial aspects, all personal bank data is encrypted separately and there is an option for collecting SEPA contributions.
The software can evaluate recorded data, which can assist administrators with making decisions regarding honors for comrades or undertaking device maintenance. To ensure data protection compliance, FireManager uses AES 128-Bit GCM encryption and also follows current German guidelines. The program supports the importing of device and personnel data, and a web-based manual is available to help users get started.
