Pros

DrChromo has a good payment plan compared to other similar EHR which helps to save money. It keeps improving its functionality.
I love the ability to take templates that other users have created and then edit off of those. Also like that square is integrated with it for payment.
The feature we liked best was auto posting of insurance payments. Also, the reporting package had great flexibility.

Pros

The implementation process itself has been great mostly because of the individuals that have been working diligently to ensure our success.
InSync is quality software that has many exciting functions; the support with our transition has been excellent and we have been able to customize the system to meet most of our needs.
So far it has been wonderful. The customer service has been amazing, all questions answered, and everyone I have spoken to is kind and knowledgeable.

Cons

Its handled by auto generated scripts and it only gets to a live person via email, not a phone call, when the problem is out of hands and escalated by an irate consumer.
Pushy salespeople, bad experience with sales and billing staff, expensive. Took 6 months to integrate billing software with clearinghouse, poor follow up with customer service regarding this process.
We are just finishing the contract but we will not renew. This is very difficult to use and it’s very useless for medical spa.

Cons

Because there are multiple ways to get to different sections, it can feel overwhelming at times. Also, I hate that they don't have a "back" button to just get to the previous screen.
I do not believe that it is a bad system I do wish it was faster but it just maybe me.
This has been especially tough in a small shop where the data validation has been frequently an area that had room for errors in output and aggregation of data.

OK Software system. Easy enough to use and A/R system is good overall. One problem is that when a bill is rejected "ERA denied", the program doesn't elaborate why something got rejected. If a patient is a "no charge", their information will still stay in the A/R queue, which is annoying.

I purchased this software for my primary care practice, the features seemed to fit very well. After eight months, and $10,000 paid, I have no product. After paying over $5000 to my existing software product to package the data onto a thumb drive, they were never able to extract the data. Pros

DrChrono is by far the easiest EHR that I have ever used. I've worked in emergency medical, surgery, industrial, aesthetics and primary care. By far this EHR is the easiest to use and customize.

Cons

Unable to set time in which the EHR is accessible by non provider staff. Would be great be able to set times in which I could set ancillary staff could use the EHR. Being that one could down load the app to the mobile device. Unable to set security settings that would prevent staff from accessing the EHR via their mobile device does patients personal information at risk.

Out of many EHRs this is by far a great product...... Very pleased

Pros

Very user friendly, no elaborate interface. It is a very simple layout and design, and you are able to build it the way you choose.

Cons

Sometimes the connection to the cloud is slow, but rarely. That aside, just move to place that has a stronger signal. IPad wireless.

Overall, it has greatly improved the way I run my practice and I don't even use all of the options.

Pros

The billing software is easy to use and has made in house billing much easier. Once you have your macros and templates setup they are very user friendly on iPad.

Cons

There are some slow times. Customer support is not available by phone, but they do get back to you promptly.

What decent features this program has is completely overshadowed by the lack of support and consistent functioning of the system.

Cloud based. Lower cost. Below average response time to issues compared to other software companies

Cons

The tech support is non existent with this company. We onboarded over a year ago and after many promises of an account manager- still don’t have one. There is no phone number to reach out to anyone when the system crashes (happens often). It’s takes days of us repeatedly putting in support tickets to hear from anyone.

Patients save me time and charting by communicating through the onpatient portal. I can run reports and have an immediate idea of what symptoms and frequency my patients are presenting and develop educational materials that support those diagnosis. I stay on top of my day by way of daily schedule emailed to me every morning.

Pros

Seamless integration with my MacBook, iMac and iPhone. Fast, knowledgeable support. The unlimited ability to customize for my sole practitioner non-force chiropractic practice. Easy to understand video tutorials which answer most questions without having to contact support. Robust, integrated systems, such as the ability to provide credit card processing. Knowing that drchrono is a leader and partner with Apple Health.

Cons

I get frustrated when I am on a learning curve with a new part of the software. But that's my problem!

Definitely recommend this EMR/EHR for any medical office

Our biweekly billing calls have helped me and our company immensely. I feel much more confident about our billing with Dr Chrono double-checking things for me. In particular, the forms that they put together for us with the different categories really helps me visually understand where we are.

Pros

Customer service is EXTREMELY responsive and helpful! I always get an email or a call within one day of requesting help.

Cons

Some things are hard to find or titled something that doesn't make sense. Typically I'm able to figure it out after talking with a member of customer support though. Another thing I'm not a fan of is the patient list, which we have the ability to sort by patient appointment but not by provider. That doesn't make sense to me.

This is a great program but if it had a slightly more efficient layout, speed or ease of use, it would stand out above other systems. It is a decent value for the price.

Pros

-easily customizeable -many features regarding billing, scheduling, alerts, messages, labs, faxes -can be used by an integrated office with multiple locations and doctors

Cons

-long custom macro sets can lag while loading -having separate tabs open for the scheduler and each patient's note can slow things down -there is no way to get an instant glimpse at someone's records without clicking buttons

I am very unsatisfied by the quality and responsiveness of your customer service, hence reason for termination. Basically, Dr Chrono has no customer service. Its handled by auto generated scripts and it only gets to a live person via email, not a phone call, when the problem is out of hands and escalated by an irate consumer. For that one year of service I had, i probably had 7 account managers, who change without notice.. The Lab Integration part took you about 6 month to install, feature that I was paying for from the very beginning.

Pros

Easy to read and write notes, many promises in the beginning that were never delivered.

Cons

Poor onboarding process. Incompetent staff, unauthorised billing, security breach, non- existent customer service.

Pros

I was very surprised by the software layout I have heard from a few people that it was cluttered but I found the opposite to be true

Cons

I did not like the amount of clicks it took to navigate through some of the menus and dropdowns but pros outweigh cons.

Pros

Data entry in this software is really easy. It is fairly intuitive. Just by typing in the patient’s ZIP code it fills the city and state for you.

Cons

One feature that needs changes is the sending ‘email blasts’. It is limited when it comes to adding email content beyond simple text

Pros

This EMR is user-friendly and can be used for any type of practice.

Cons

This EMR is always updating and changes are good, however, I wish the updates could be done on the weekend so care is not delayed by issues that might occur during the update.

EHR Made Easier

I was able to not only schedule patients and have a calendar view but it also solved the problem with employee schedules by having them more involved with their own scheduling

Pros

I liked the Calendar features and the interactive of it all

Cons

Patients had a little difficulty not recognizing the reminders they were being sent about their appointments

Overall, I would say the experience is net positive. I would note that the eligibility/benefits checks are only accurate about 50% of the time which is a hassle, but I don't know how it compares to other softwares that offer this feature. Partly chose it because we wanted to make a custom history section that could be sent to the patient before the intake and have them fill it out and autopopulate...

Pros

+ Financial reports extensive (I can't emphasize enough how helpful this is) + Easy to communicate between clinicians + HIPAA Zoom integration + Practice Management generally seems to work well/fewer glitches on that side compared to the EMR, just a few flaws like how the balance shows up in the patient portal can be confusing for patients + Works well for group practice workflow + Has all the necessary add ons in one system (and more!) - this is great! + Customer service very responsive about 2/3rds of the time, available by phone and email + After the first 6 months or so, almost all the glitches are ironed out + It is very customizable in every way (forms, note templates, appt reminders, calendar format, html name, really everything about it) + PDMP integration is awesome

Cons

- No Google Cal integration (DrChrono offered this) - Patient Portal can be glitchy - Deployment does not go smoothly at all - Appointment reminders are per-text/per-email and thus very expensive compared to other programs - All the add-ons end up cost a lot per month (claim submission, HIPAA Zoom, etc, even though we own the license we still pay quite a bit per month per provider/higher than what...
