Does not interface 100% with IOS, so when clients are using an iPad or an iPhone to interact, they cannot receive documents from their provider.

Their proposed solution was for me to hire additional staff to handle the added workload this change created—a costly and inefficient resolution. When I found an alternative software solution that could bridge the gap, Elation would only permit integration if I first paid for software development time (a reasonable request I was willing to meet), but on top of that, they demanded an additional $500 per month, per provider, indefinitely.

This means I will be forced to pay full time access for my provider, who only sees patients for 2 to 5 hours per week, I cannot disallow her from simple tasks like checking her schedule or reviewing lab results.

I like the ability to communicate privately and securely between multiple practitioners and clients.

The system also helps build your own dashboards, and add or hide components using page composer.

All my patients are seen every month which means I have to schedule each patient manually every month.

We noticed sometimes the application would have minor glitches, maybe to many users downloading documents/reports causing a system glitch.

To change a patients appointment you have to physically delete it and reschedule in the new time.

I can teach a new provider the basics in minutes and send them out to see patients.

Can you please tell me more about how this impacts the user experience? or Regarding the label printing request outside of the lab workflow—this is a common feature request.

You don't have to scroll through or click through screen after screen to find what you need.  

Also, the training videos are quick, soundless videos of someone clicking through charts, with no further detail.   

However, once I was fully integrated and reliant on their system, they removed key functionality that had been a dealbreaker in my decision to use their software.

When I joined they had great auto text reminders for appts and a great option to hire a part time employee

If you live on the East Coast, you still cannot integrate with many systems, as they are a California-based company.

Overall Elation delivered the features and functionality we were looking for despite the price being a concern for our budget.

It's also easy to set the role and delegate approval rights to someone else if going on a vacation.

Overall is has great benefits and make life much easier, with a few tweeks it could be even better of an experience.

There are so many common sense functions that Elation can do that my previous EMR couldn't do.

They actually seem to enjoy flexing their muscles to force you to do what works better for them.
