What is iCareManager?

iCareManager, also known as iCM, is an Electronic Health Record (EHR) solution targeting the management needs of long-term care providers. Suitable across industries including assisted living, IDD/DDA, home health & private duty, plus adult & senior day care centers, iCareManager provides 23 interchangeable features and modules. Most generally, the system promises to centralize the management of resident medical documentation, staff information and the application of rule-based workflows for automating facility operations. iCareManager’s SaaS-based pricing is also simplified at a flat rate per resident per month, with users only paying for the modules they deploy. Core features include iCM’s Care Tracker for logging detailed records of care provisions; alongside the ability to generate unique care plans for every patient. Assessment data can be captured and monitored against medical goals, while activity planning also tracks attendance etc.

Medication management follows safety and compliance with iCM’s own eMAR system. Integration ensures connectivity with at least 12 of the leading pharmacy systems, while dedicated portals provide login access for a facility’s own pharmacy and its physicians. The software’s own internal inbox allows the sending of secured messages and memos, along with fax send/receive support, risk alerts and notifications. Additional key features include incident reporting, a staff training module, site and fleet maintenance, plus access controls with role-based user permissions.
