I have struggled most with billing—getting cards to not charge for missed appointments. Reminders have occasionally caught me off guard—either they went out too many times or not enough.

Simple Practice is simply the best!

I have used 4 other electronic health record systems prior to purchasing Simple Practice. . Most recently I used My Clients Plus with a group practice that I just left. Simple Practice is without a doubt the best software I have used. As I made plans to open my own practice, I also used a free trial version of a 5th software title CounSol. It's layout felt out of date. Although they specifically had an agent assigned to each customer, for quick response time, I preferred Simple Practice.

Pros

The software has a nice feel to it as far as they lay out, and appearance when you log in. It is also mostly intuitive.

Cons

Initial learning stage, it's not always easy to find specifically the answer to a particular question. Then you need to email support and wait for them to get back to you.
