Unlike Sqare or Stripe (even though they use Stripe)…which deposits daily….CloudBEDS holds your funds.

As soon as a thing is more than a basic problem they do not know how to handle it, create a ticket and that ticket gets succed into a black hole of non existent technical support.

Bugs in the software are marked as a wish and published on their online community where people can share their wishes for changes.

They’re smooth, attentive, and borderline over-eager during setup, but the second they’ve got your money, you might as well be shouting into a void.

Basically, they use dirty sales tactics, telling us we had to sign up that day or else the price would go up by 30%.

Each reservation coming from an OTA has pending balances (we are on Channel Connect) which isn't good for our book keeping.

Recently, it appears as though Cloudbeds is taking steps to focus more on relationship and supporting their partners.

No hospitality partners, no Cloudbeds. When I have immediate needs, there is not enough support.

Won’t get a timely response, have to pay extra to get someone on the phone.

We got a chance to evaluate Cloudbeds and it looked like it was feature rich.

A seemingly rudimentary question which takes hours of being on hold, finally reaching a junior rep who points us to room revenue (which is not total revenue), another points us to total payments, another points us to total debits, all of which have worked for the company for under 5 months.

They lied on several occasions to get my business and after I asked to cancel my first week in (when they doubled the price I agreed to) they refused to refund me

Onboarders are the only ones that know the product but your not allowed to talk to them after onboarding.

You will never speak to a human again after they get you set up.

Turns to total crap after they get your money.

However, each time we were met with a sales person that was so awful that we were unable to sign up.

They are rude and condescending. Since sales is very much the face of the company we decided to go elsewhere.

You need to log your problem by email then you have to wait for a confirmation then you have to wait for a response and all communication is done by email and sometimes the answer is not what you are actually looking for.

Google Hotel ads isn't working, be wary about this on your sales call because this was a big reason we joined, but so far we have no idea how this works.

I cant even get into my cloudbeds now and am just waiting on someone to respond through a email .

Basic functionality ok, but the rest......sucks.

Moreover, they have a lot of hidden fees (specifically for credit card processing) that make them a lot more expensive than we initially anticipated when signing up.

The transition process from our old system to CloudBeds was done with limited help from them and communicating with their customer support was awful and almost exclusively via e-mail.

I was recently assigned a new account manager which I am very grateful for.

The worst reporting system I have every worked with.

You can't get help. When you do the live chats they just keep taking you in circles.

Its just so frustrating when trying to run 4 businesses and we can't even get a straight answer on our "total revenue" for a basic PL report we are trying to produce but have now spent 3 days trying to finish.

I should have known there were problems at Cloudbeds as their contract had language saying that its users could not publish reviews.

Having a dashboard view of arrivals as well as your occupancy percentage allows you to make the right decisions when it comes to making modifications with our guests.

The convenience of having a software like this, is to be able to link it with your Poster software, which makes the guest accounts accurate, allows control and a better summary of stay for our customers,

The interface is user friendly and satisfies all the core hotel management needs from OTA channels, your own booking engine, reservation management, even housekeeping features.

For us, we integrated Cloudbeds with Assa Abloy's NFC enabled door lock,  a Mobile Check in aplication which allows our guests to check in wthout accessing our front desk.

Hostaway had much better reporting, which to me is a surprise.

It is also easy to deal with customer complaints and inquiries.

STATING THEY HAD "documents" THERE ARE NO DOCUMENTS, NO APPROVAL, NO AUTHORIZATION, they have gone against their own company policies.

They have you watch some videos and to some light follow up, but it is hardly a cohesive transition program.

You can only message them through live chat or email and it's always painstakingly slow to get an answer to your questions.

Sometimes we'll notice days on your calendar that are blocked off for no reason.

They are not reputable and allow others to transfer your account with authorizing

For example, when I go to the reservations page (all reservations historically and current), there is a filter which quickly gives me just the current unfulfilled (future) reservations.

Its colors and calendar layout allow the user to have a better visibility of the available rooms and thus avoid overbooking.

There is no phone number so you can never just call a person and quickly get help over the phone.

There are many features that don't exist like automated billing, accepting deposits of different amounts for different groups.

Very unstable since November 2023 and no explanations, no compensation - Just answers saying that they are aware of the problem and working on it.

The Onboarding system is just on point, if you handled a previous system and you know even the tiniest thing about it, their onboarding team will go out of their way to show you all you need to know to get started and then ask you if there is something you need from the advanced parts.
