As soon as a thing is more than a basic problem they do not know how to handle it, create a ticket and that ticket gets succed into a black hole of non existent technical support.

Bugs in the software are marked as a wish and published on their online community where people can share their wishes for changes.

There were a few small areas where more customization would help, but overall, it’s a reliable and user-friendly system.

Lastly, the variety of channels offered through the channel connection is a major benefit.

They’re smooth, attentive, and borderline over-eager during setup, but the second they’ve got your money, you might as well be shouting into a void.

Each reservation coming from an OTA has pending balances (we are on Channel Connect) which isn't good for our book keeping.

We have the multi-property functionality and it's been game changer.

Google Hotel ads isn't working, be wary about this on your sales call because this was a big reason we joined, but so far we have no idea how this works.

We got a chance to evaluate Cloudbeds and it looked like it was feature rich.

Moreover, they have a lot of hidden fees (specifically for credit card processing) that make them a lot more expensive than we initially anticipated when signing up.

Onboarders are the only ones that know the product but your not allowed to talk to them after onboarding.

Its just so frustrating when trying to run 4 businesses and we can't even get a straight answer on our "total revenue" for a basic PL report we are trying to produce but have now spent 3 days trying to finish.

However, each time we were met with a sales person that was so awful that we were unable to sign up.

For us, we integrated Cloudbeds with Assa Abloy's NFC enabled door lock,  a Mobile Check in aplication which allows our guests to check in wthout accessing our front desk.

It is also easy to deal with customer complaints and inquiries.

STATING THEY HAD "documents" THERE ARE NO DOCUMENTS, NO APPROVAL, NO AUTHORIZATION, they have gone against their own company policies.

The worst reporting system I have every worked with.

You can only message them through live chat or email and it's always painstakingly slow to get an answer to your questions.

Sometimes we'll notice days on your calendar that are blocked off for no reason.

For example, when I go to the reservations page (all reservations historically and current), there is a filter which quickly gives me just the current unfulfilled (future) reservations.

Its colors and calendar layout allow the user to have a better visibility of the available rooms and thus avoid overbooking.

There is no phone number so you can never just call a person and quickly get help over the phone.

There are many features that don't exist like automated billing, accepting deposits of different amounts for different groups.

Very unstable since November 2023 and no explanations, no compensation - Just answers saying that they are aware of the problem and working on it.

The Onboarding system is just on point, if you handled a previous system and you know even the tiniest thing about it, their onboarding team will go out of their way to show you all you need to know to get started and then ask you if there is something you need from the advanced parts.

I cant even get into my cloudbeds now and am just waiting on someone to respond through a email .

I mainly use it to centralize bookings, manage cleaners/cleaning times, automate guest messages, and streamline the check-in/check-out process.

Seems subscription cost for smaller hosts is more pricey as compared to their  enterprise solution?

However, I was managing my 40 properties through another PMS, and everything was working perfectly with Airbnb, proving this excuse was not valid. Despite knowing they had failed to deliver on their promises, Guesty charged me $1,000 for an onboarding that never happened.

Throughout this period, I’ve tested several PMS solutions, including Hostaway, Lodgify, and Stays. While none are perfect, Guesty stands out for all the wrong reasons.

Guesty saves a lot of time and headache when it comes to managing multiple listings and messaging guests.

i like how i can sync multiple calendars from different platforms to one location and how i can automate messages and save time on the daily tasks.

Additionally, the comprehensive reporting and analytics provide valuable insights for optimizing operations.

Guesty is affordable for individual hosts and provides all the automation that you would hope for, my cleaners were all familiar with it and prefer it's notifications to co-hosting, and it allowed me to share my space on multiple channels as well as independently listed.

Once integrated, Guesty attempted to deploy my AirBnb listing to the Vrbo platform but botched the job as it modified the Vrbo listing to have 13 bedrooms opposed to the 2 bedrooms my AirBnb displays (AirBnb has a feature to assign pictures to each room, and somehow the 13 rooms in my house each were listed as bedrooms on Vrbo).Another issue I continue to see is that Vrbo reservation lag to update in Guesty's database (and one time not populating in the database at all). If Instant Booking is enabled and you're in a popular area, you will observe scheduling conflicts.

Support issues: When testing a property integration with Airbnb, they falsely claimed that Airbnb was down.

One aspect I liked least about Guesty For Hosts is its pricing, which can be expensive for smaller operations.

Price optimizer could be built out more to include orphan gaps and other specifics. But I am sure they are looking at it.

The seamless integrations with major booking platforms save time and reduce errors.

Worse, they billed my card $450 for three months, without authorization, while still failing to provide the promised services.

Occasionally, customer support response times are slower during peak periods, which can be frustrating.

Additionally, the platform's extensive features can be overwhelming, resulting in a steep learning curve for new users.

The application provides us with a one-stop management portal.

Guesty easily integrates with all of the major booking platforms and also helps you to set up your own direct booking website.

It messed up my listings 3x and said I had way more beds (like 16 or 18 per property, when it only has 3-4, and said it only had 1 bathroom instead of 2-3).

Wish I could use different payment processors other than stripe or PayPal.

The ability to use multiple booking platforms in one centralized app is the best feature.

I created an account with Guesty on May 22 and it has been nearly SIX weeks without the ability to connect or access my VRBO account.

I love Guesty for streamlining processes, emails, calendars and door codes so I don't have to think as much!  

Guesty for Hosts has poor customer support.

This worked most of the time, but I did have multiple issues with Vrbo reservations lagging to show on customer-facing calendars.

Over all, Guesty has been a super big help with managing my properties.

Prior to GFH, I used to manually send check in/out, and pre arrival and post arrival messages manually.

Guesty for Host, gives me more time to focus on providing exceptional hospitality and less time on administrative tasks.

Nothing is so bad that it limits being able to use the platform entirely, but it will sometimes require a reset of the app or refreshing of the page.

We've had some technical glitches and customer service sometimes is on the slow side with today's work enviroment of too much work and not enough employees, but Guesty has done a great job overall of managing our platforms and I would highly recommend it.

Customer service is slow to answer, and there are just way too many glitches with calendars and double bookings.

I was having trouble integrating more due to limited features like the [sensitive content hidden] statements and the UX is very dated.
