The problem is a very important one: we are renting our apartments for a minimum of two nights. If a client tries to book accommodation for just one night, the system will give a feedback that there is no availability, it won't tell the client that they are require to select a minimum of two nights.

The booking calendar has very basic limitations and won't show minimum of stays for bookings.

I will take this opportunity to say that in response to a question further on in this questionaire, I put mid range for for the cost of eviivo as compared to others, however the truth is I haven't looked since buying it so that is purely a guess.

I like how easy the view of the dashboard is and how there are separate categories views such as "Actions" which shows you any cancelled bookings, deposits due, cards declined or over bookings.

I still don't know why I was double billed, what I will be billed, or whether I will be billed twice for the same stay.

Editing/updating a reservation is a chore and sometimes impossible

I only need to update my calendar and rates in the one place and it automatically transfers over to  the online booking agencies.

We were forced to use them when our previous service was acquired. Why, why did I wait so long to switch.

Actually no customer service at all only, just someone who yelled at me, refused to listen to my problem & basically talked to me as though she thought she was my superior.

Eviivo's own merchant service is appalling in that the money is received from 4 to 8 weeks after it has been charged.

The new app makes it very easy to add a reservation using your iPhone.   If you need some of the other features such as entering detailed guest data or update rates, etc., it easily maps you into the full eviivo platform.

Somewhat behind the times with changing technology

It has provided a quality interface with multiple gateways and creative ways to advance my offering as 4-star guest house and garden restaurant.

We opened our new 8 bedroom hotel on 29th May 2021 when website and Eviivo Booking Platform went live - two weeks later we have 114 bookings ranging from 2 days to 10 days - Fantastic response.

Been with you since 2006 when we started our business - been 'offered' deals by other on line platforms  but never been tempted to move as satisfied with all aspects of Eviivo service.

At this point the majority of my reservations come thru Airbnb, and they cost me much less than the reservations booked thru Eviivo.   While I appreciate that guests can book my property directly without paying additional fees to Airbnb, the additional costs are outweighing the benefit.

The ability to see Arrivals, In House and Departures of guest is a very nice feature that help us manage our team of employees.

Attachments on messages, it is not possible as portals like Airbnb and Booking.com block messages with these. As we are still sending messages through their connections, we have to abide by their rules.

The messages to VRBO bookings are sent via email and not entered into the VRBO app. And VRBO booking is not downloaded like Airbnb with all the details.

The feature that was most impactful is the ability to sync calendars from Airnbn, VRBO onto one calendar that was used to interface on my personal website for my short term rental property.

Airbnb has now added this feature but the Smoobu version works better. When a booking comes in 3 days before the guests arrival but the message is programmed to be sent 6 days in advance than airbnb does not send the message, but Smoobu does ! When handling numerous client accounts it is nearly impossible to handle client communication without a channel manager.

I can highly recommend Smoobu to anyone looking for trouble-free booking management.

There were a couple of times when I needed to contact Smoobu as canceled reservations on Airbnb do not automatically clear on the Smoobu system. Once I realized it was necessary to double check my main calendar after a guest canceled, it wasn't a problem.

I trialed 3 other softare vendors and Smoobu has the absolute most responsive customer service.

The programme is well structured, very intuitive and easy to use.
