I like the ease with which I can customize my price settings, and the flexibility I have to make specific changes per property based on time-specific or date-specific rules.

Additionally, there have been times where Wheelhouse doesn't sync quickly enough, and I then have bookings at significantly undervalued prices.

It's been a week+ now and they still haven't resolved the last issue brought up about amenities weighing incorrectly on one unit vs the next (same unit, same amenities).

Now, everything is referred to as the "team," and after waiting several days to weeks, the issue persists—clearly the case of outsourcing support.

Despite losing functionality in how I could control my listings in wheelhouse, WH has offered zero flexibility in terms of adjusting my subscription pricing, and/or refunding me.

The last issue we found a week or two ago, we had to escalate through our PMS to get to their products team to resolve.

Daily pricing updates to Airbnb generate more bookings based on demand.

Regarding my reservation at Property 3702532 (Unit ID 4276677), booked Jan 7–Mar 4, 2026 for 2 adults: Upon arrival, the unit did not match the Vrbo listing and was not in acceptable condition.

There was an odor of mold/grease, the floor was slippery, furniture was stained and ripped, kitchen cabinets had grease/lint buildup, and the A/C unit was unsecured with exposed wiring.

With Vrbo, I was able to get reservations confirmed within 24 hours and got almost instant customer support for post reservation request.

I most like being able to see multiple units on one page, including their distance from key landmarks, like restaurants and shopping.

I like the amount of photos that are posted for each property and the calendar makes it easy to see things that are available when I need it.

A week before our rental I continued to receive emails about my rental, including the door code and instructions. Yet when we arrived, the door code was not working.

I booked a room were expecting nasty rain and was seeing if I could cancel for a partial refund.

The host of Property  [sensitive content hidden] was ridiculous about not even letting us use the property after she has the money.

I was promised a call to help me make alternative arrangments after the Vrbo we reserved was 'not available' because the home was sold.

I know it’s probably a safety measure, however it can be hard to know exactly the location you’re booking without having the address or street number.

There’s other platforms for air bnb rentals

The guest quality is usually great, but Vrbo charges the hosts a lot more than competitor platforms, their website is slow/laggy, and their mobile app is next to useless.

Long story short, after contacting Vrbo support and literally going back and forth for a few weeks, they offered to reimburse me $500 and $250 in One Key cash.

Misleading pricing, the ad stated clearly two specific statements that would lead me to believe the cost was much lower.

VRBO said we need to contact home owner / property manager with no response - property was managed by a 3rd party.

After a half hour support via chat stated that the home was not available for rental since the owner sold the property.

We save lots of money by having a full kitchen and preparing some of our own meals.

We were told via the app from customer service that someone would call us to help make alternative arrangements but it never happened.

The "Explore the area" is one of my favorite parts about Vrbo because I am always looking for different thing to do while away on vacation. Plus, it is a good way to explore the local area!

Service fee is BS, it is just a fee added on to a price that supposedly was all fees included.

We have reached out to both parties on numerous occasions but neither taking responsibility.

Navigation is straightforward, with clear search filters, responsive design, and high-quality visuals.

Overall I am happy with VRBO, I believe it is also cheaper than AirBnB from the guest perspective and have had wonderful guests come through this OTA.

Luckily it integrates with property management software, so I can use it as a third party tool.

It's a way for people to rent out the smallest space in their houses to get all of their bills paid.

Sometimes the prices are not as good as Air B and B although I know that may not be the apps fault but the clientee doing the listings.

This property also listed an air conditioner and washer - neither were present.

I found a great place that matched the photos and description, and the communication with the host went smoothly.

So I booked a home for our extended family of 8 for a wedding.

I never received a call, even after the whole weekend trip was finished I never received a call to help with accommodations.

I would definitely consider using Vrbo again for future trips, especially when traveling with a group or looking for more space than a hotel offers.

They implied that I could have soaked towels and threw them on the floor.

If Vrbo wasn't one of two or three major companies to list rentals on, I probably wouldn't use them.

There were popup banners boasting total all fee included pricing.

The interface maybe isn't as nice as other OTAs.

House rentals that give you the full privacy of no shared living areas.

The claim of “all fees included” was directly contradicted by these add-ons.
