Pros

I like the GUI the most as the simplicity and the ease of use of this tool makes it a fantastic product.
FAR better than Tempworks in functionality. A true CRM/ATS with modern-day capabilities - as most of the top 20 ATS's have.
I like Bullhorn for many reasons. The ease in using it; the amount of different thing you can use it for; the technical support is great and retrieving reports are easy to get.

Pros

The ability to create and archive recruit lists is really great when manual follow-ups aren't created, and it helps keep our team organized / focused.
The support and training offered are some of the best aspects of this solution. The team at Top Echelon has been great to work with.
I love the simplicity of the main screen and the versatility to move it to fit your needs. The Customer Support is superb.

Cons

Terrible company with awful service, poor values, who put more effort in selling their product than delivering it.
It seems as though there's a Bullhorn outage at least 2 to 3 times per month that negatively impacts our workflow and the development time is ridiculous to say the least.
Its been problematic and terrible since the beginning. We will be switching in short order.

Cons

Lack of graph making- which could be user error.
Over my (almost) two years there have only been a few times that we needed support, each time I was disappointed with the availability to get someone on the phone / response time on email.
The interaction with external APIs is extremely limited. Being able to download and upload data with various fields and mapping is restrictive.

I think overall Bullhorn is a solid product. We have had some issues when we had to move over to another provider for our email. There have been some bugs that really took much longer to resolve than they should have. But overall their tech support is solid.

Pros

The ease of integrating resumes into BH. I also think that the Tech support is top notch!

Cons

It feels like sometimes BH can turn into a black hole of candidates. It would be helpful to have better searching features. I would also like to add that it would be extremely helpful to work out bugs that have been an issue for several months listed as a priority and not you get to them when you get to them.

Ease of use, ability to organize top talent. Love the mass mailing features and how customizable the tabs are to each business

Hard to search, especially candidates not attached to recruiter profiles which makes filling jobs from bullhorn a second option and LinkedIn number one in my office

Recruiting Made Simple

Overall this is a great tool for any recruiter and will keep them on top of their numbers and give them the functionality they need to get their job done.

Pros

Bullhorn was the easiest software I've used in Recruiting. I like it's ability to track and log activity and it's ease of reporting. I know what my call count is at all times and the number of calls I need to make to hit my number. The reminders are extremely helpful as well.

Cons

I have no complaints about the software. I feel that it could improve it's user interface and make it a little more user friendly.

Bullhorn has streamlined our office. If it's not in Bullhorn - it didn't happen. The support team and implementation teams are fantastic. We love how we have been able to customize the system to meet our exact business needs. It is flexible and intuitive. We are excited to use more reporting tools in the future as well.

Pros

Customer service team is top notch. They always go the extra mile to be sure my questions are answered fully and I understand not just the HOW but the WHY behind it. Always personable and friendly and ready to help.

Cons

I would love to have the ability to onboard clients in BBO the same way I onboard contractors - but with storage of documents in the Company Tab instead of the assignment. BUT - the BBO team is aware of my need, and they're working on building it!

Not impressed - good product, mediocre customer service yet one of the most expensive choices.

Pros

Did a decent job in all aspects but never a great job. Product-wise it was decent to good FAR better than Tempworks in functionality A true CRM/ATS with modern-day capabilities - as most of the top 20 ATS's have

Cons

Customer service was lacking during presale, implementation, and during our migration No help with "best practices" therefore they rely on their customer base to figure things out for themselves versus acting as professional advisors Their initial salesmen were extremely "high pressure sales oriented" NOT focused on clients needs, wanted to close the deal Ease of use is lacking therefore employees are reluctant to embrace it.

I've been using it for a long time. I love how easy it is and that there are always updates to make it better and better.

Cons

I don't have anything negative to say. I depend on it, so on the rare occasion that something goes wrong (we are on the beta version), it impacts my day. Support is always right on top of it though, so it's not too painful.

Pros

I used and helped implement Bullhorn at my previous company and our recruiters loved how user-friendly and sleek, modern and clean the interface is. It was also fairly easy to migrate the extensive data from our old platform into Bullhorn. Their customer service is also top-notch and available whenever you encounter a problem.

Cons

The reporting was a little limited for what we were looking for and it was far more expensive than our previous software.

Rather frustrating - the 'out of the box' solution doesn't really seem to fulfil as many of the requirements as some of your competitors do. The inability to set up multiple offices for the same company seems quite an oversight, particularly if one contact oversees the recruitment across a number of sites but can only be added to one of them for synchronisation purposes. Synchronisation is seamless with email Customer service and tech support was good on some issues Online and mobile so can be accessed easily

Cons

Need to upgrade to access very simple tweaks - menu customisations? Should be fairly standard and not worth an extra £30 per user to do Not fully capable of doing everything we need it to. We paid a premium price to get a top end product and sadly this seems to fall short of that Requirement to have a web developer to customise portal

Bullhorn for the Win !

Pros

What I like most about the product is the functionality and ease of use. You don't have to be a technology pro to navigate through the system and the features are great. If I can name my top three features it would be having the ability to create and manage tasks, an easy and streamlined process of pulling reports to track my metrics, and the integration between several other tools I use for recruiting such as LinkedIn, CareebBuilder, etc.

Overall the prodcut is great, howevevr greater functionality on a mobile device would make it even better !

Bullhorn for Staffing Agencies

I generally like using Bullhorn and its functionality. Once you figured out how to use it, it's practical and quick. We are a staffing agency with 20 producers and it's fairly easy to customize for Recruiting and Sales. Staying on top of data accuracy and documentation is an issue because a lot of functions have to be done manually. An automation of some kind would be helpful and I can't imagine using Bullhorn efficiently for a larger organization.

Pros

- Easy to use for a small operation such as ours - Great customer service - Regular updates to the software

Cons

- New features are rarely communicated and it's difficult to find out what products were added and are available to me (We have Bullhorn S release and lots of functionality is available but I wouldn't know about) - Some type of automation would be needed to make daily processes easier, for example, buttons to track calls vs. having to add a note - Currently no data mining tool available for no cost that would allow to clean up data.

BullHorn is pretty good so far

It's a learning process but I over all like the system just wish they could get the glitches out and also wish they would allow you to make a csv export document of your task lists.

Pros

Technical support is AMAZING. You can call them 100 times a day and they don't get irritated and they also send you a recap every time you chat so you can have the steps they walked you through in an email to refer to. There are a lot of resources and training video's to help when you first use bullhorn. I like that you can set up your bullhorn any way you want. You can change the names of text boxes and fields, required fields, what your record categories are called - everything is able to be personalized to your business.

Cons

There are A LOT of glitches because it's on a browser? I don't know if that's the reason but sometimes you search a name in the top search bar that you've searched for A MILLION times and it won't come up. You have to do like a letter of the first name and then the whole name of vise versa but if you type in the exact name in the record it still won't pull it up. It also kicks us out all the time, doesn't load right etc.

Yesterday's technology with awful support

We had an awful time trying to configure the system, were blatantly lied to by their sales with regard to certain functionalities (their reporting is hardcoded and pretty much useless) and never received support until at the end we threatened with cancellation. Funny thing is that months after cancellation we still get the occasional fresh invoice and product updates. On top of that, they hired a debt recovery agency which started calling 100 times per day threatening all kinds of things. I know of one other agency in this city that had exactly the same issue! Anyway, the calls stopped when we proved cancellation and it was clear we wouldn't pay, and then only recently we got a call from their support asking how we are getting on with the system!

Pros

UI looks appealing, as is their sales pitch

Cons

Yesterday's technology, slow, buggy, very bad CRM (dont believe the sales pitch), hard coded useless reports, submit a ticket and submit it another three times before you get an email from support 5 days later. Double the expense for half the functionality, contractually difficult and implementation fees.

Bullhorn was an awful experience and one of the worst investments I have made as a business owner. Bullhorn is great because it is web-based and you can used it anywhere. This enables you to work on the go and not be crippled in the office. It's great for tracking applicants to certain jobs. There should be video tutorials on how to search for candidates. There are so many filters that it might be overwhelming to start searching with no training.

Bullhorn is an incredibly inefficient tool. I can't call it a CRM/ATS tool because, frankly, it does not provide the tools you would expect to see in an CRM/ATS tool. One of my biggest issues is around the inability to manage candidate relationships and candidate workflow - both for pipeline candidates and those that you're actively moving through the screening process pre, during and post job interview....

Over, great product for the money and with a few changes could be close to the perfect all encompassing ATS/CRM.

Pros

Inexpensive Very user friendly, takes less than a half an hour to learn how to use. Great Tech Support

Cons

Layout not completely customizable Default email font and size can't be changed Needs to have better interaction with Outlook (email responses aren't logged into record) Schedule and to-do list needs to be tweaked

Overall for the cost effectiveness of the tool, I would highly recommend Big Biller to anyone looking for an effective ATS/CRM.

Pros

Big Biller is a perfect software with a lot of the basic tools necessary to run an effective business.

Cons

Would like the email logging function to be more robust, but the work around is not complex and works for us.

Big Biller provides Options and its a One Stop Shop

Best for a 1-5 man organization.

Pros

Website, Job Board, Hosting, ATS, CRM are offered at an affordable price. Customer service is free and absolutely the best. Direct Hire, Temp, TEmp to Hire and Social Media Advertisements.

Cons

Need a Medical Specific Version. You can customize but it takes time. Their full service funding program need a bit of work in terms of marketing.

Excellent front office software

We are a fairly small staffing agency (7 users) and recently migrated from Bullhorn and Akken into Big Biller and couldn't be happier with the ease of use, customer service and especially price. I highly recommend this ATS to anyone looking for a simple, straight forward software to streamline the process from recruitment to placement. My only regret is that we spent all that money on the other 2 ATS before finding Big Biller.

Pros

It’s easy to use, is regularly updated to improve user efficiency, is highly dependable and always available, can be easily accessed when I travel and is reasonably priced. Technical support, though seldom needed, is responsive and excellent.

Cons

I have no complaints or concerns. I’ve used ATS software/systems for over 25 years and Top Echelon is clearly the best ATS I’ve used, by far.

I like the fact that this is cloud based software and that I can access it from anywhere without having to lug my laptop around.

Pros

This is a solid ATS for my business. Easy to use and access from anywhere.

Cons

At some times can be cumbersome to work with, but that's been my experience with other ATS's.
