One of the things that stands out is their their customer support for both HR & payroll queries. Whenever we've encountered issues or had questions, their support team has been responsive and helpful, ensuring that we can resolve things quickly.

People and Talent Coordinator

The support team were able to help rectify these quickly, but there was no communication at the time that the issue had occurred (despite Cezanne being aware of it) so we had to wait until an employee stumbled across it to then have it resolved, rather than fixing it straight away and avoiding the inconvenience to others.

There are so many helpful processed and features, such as onboarding checklists, sending reminders in document tracking, performance review forms and many more. Once you get used to the system our processes are better streamlined.

recruitment module could be improved when making someone a leaver the process is not fully automatised (we need to physically add end date to all absences etc) when a new joiner's start date change you physically need to change all dates - there should be an easier way to update dates

The self service element of the system works very well, allowing our employees to make sure there details are all up to date and it allows them to check what information we have used before querying.

I can maintain records, send documents, obtain signatures, create forms, customise etc.

This is somewhat of a dubious "Con", but from my own experience there can be so many different fields and sub-headings that the amount of information stored can be difficult to navigate quickly - as an example, finding annual leave remaining is behind multiple menus and there is an abundance of data/info which can be "noisy" when looking for something specific.

The recent annual leave implementation went very smoothly which makes a stressful time for HR a little less stressful, although explaining what Minimum Entitlement Adjustments are to employees and how they are calculated is just something we get every year.

Its intuitive design and user-friendly interface ensured quick adoption across teams, minimising disruption and maximising efficiency from day one.

The ability to personalise and utilise different sections of the system and add them on if we find we need the additional modules.

Onboarding new employees has become a smoother process with the automated workflows, and performance management tools have helped us stay on top of employee development.

Would like more customisation of being able to view different colleagues' holidays (rather than just your line reports and your line manager's other reports)

The customisable nature of the functionality across the modules allows for a bespoke feel from an out-of-the-box product.

The reporting function is hugely beneficial to how we collect data and helps us spot gaps in our employee information.

Sometimes putting in absence requests can be a little long winded, especially if you wanted to book say a recurring friday off for 4 weeks you would need to do 4 seperate booking requests.

As our first HRIS, the platform has not only met but often exceeded our expectations, delivering a blend of simplicity, flexibility, and innovation that aligns perfectly with our growing organisation.

Equally, our interactions with the Cezanne team have been nothing but positive and it's that human element that really helps new users buy-in when introduced to the system and the wider support network available.

Implementation was relatively smooth, although there were some gremlins that appeared once the implementation process had finished, and some of our processes needed completely overhauled to work with the new system.

I particularly appreciate the customisable nature of the platform, which allowed us to tailor it to our specific needs.

The interface feels a little old-fashioned and could benefit from a more modern design.

The built in analytic reports makes reporting on different departments and shifts very easy which is ideal in my job role.

I love Cezanne, overall they think outside the box with things, take onboard all suggestions and respond so quickly whenever you have an issue or problem you can't solve(normally user error on my end).

Because the system is able to hold so much data, it's not as easy for users to navigate as other systems I've used in the past.

Nothing really, sometimes it take a while to remember all of the Administrator functions but once the system is set up it is fairly maintenance free,

The reporting is decent, but building custom reports sometimes feels restricted or takes more time than expected

Shift worker patterns are hard to implement and can take a lot of admin time to ensure they are correct.

It makes things a lot easier and quicker such as running reports or quickly needing a certain piece of personal info.

I like that it calculates annual leave, can record different types of absence, can create manager self service.

Also i feel sometimes things are over complicated, and there's niche aspects that need to be remembered to successfully manage the HRIS

At times you can get stuck in a system loop when updating deployment records which can be frustrating as the notification messages don't go into enough detail to help you pin point what exactly is causing the loop so it can take some time to resolve.

Overall it is a decent system that needs some updates to certain things like the limited mobile app .

Learning and Development Manager

The mobile app is currently quite limited, it covers the basics though and I am sure will be built on.

As for pricing, it’s quite reasonable given the range of features and customisation options available.

It is a complex system because offers you a lot but it doesn't work properly if you don't set up it properly.

It needs to mirror the desktop functions for the self service.

Lack of synchronisation / payroll function for Asia

To set up various processes, security functions etc it seems quite long winded and clunky

Sometimes difficult to find this due to no text on sidebar icons.

It is useful to use for the core functions of booking time off and gathering overtime
