There really aren't any big cons. If I am splitting hairs, I would say that accessing employee's enrollment forms could be slightly easier. When you are on the employee page and want to view the enrollment forms, you must create a report and then navigate to another page to view the forms.

Makes benefit enrollment easier and it has the ability to integrate with our payroll software which helps out a lot.

It does not send automatic enrollment emails to new hires so you still have to manually push those out.

Even the brokers recognize how difficult it is to use.

Adding custom rates doesn't always work out for me. When an app for a carrier isn't in the library, I wish we could add it immediately and no have to wait for Ease to add it.

Renewing benefits during open enrollment and also adding new benefits can be challenging.   If you don't do it often it is difficult to remember everything that should be done.   And you won't necessarily know if you have made a mistake until down the road when something doesn't work correctly.  

The connectivity with carriers is a problem, account reps not helping or being downright misleading is a problem, if you aren't connected by EDI it requires manual efforts.

As an administrator, the build is daunting. Unless you have a small group, with a minimal amount of benefits, it can take a long time to build, usually needing to stop and ask questions for the setup.

Ease provides very details support with check lists, tasks and videos to guide ease administrators.

We are an insurance broker and use Ease primarily for benefit enrollment and oversight of our clients' employees.  

It can get even more frustrating for big groups with multiple classes, locations, divisions, contributions, etc.

Our contract was recently renewed and the previous discount went away.   When asked for another discount similar to what we previously had we were told what was in it for Ease to provide another discount as before.

It almost feels like you need to hijack the system a little bit to use it for underwriting a new group.

If there's a complicated benefits situation, Ease Customer Support isn't always available to help resolve the issue quickly, and the follow-up has been somewhat lacking.

Overall, EASE is an easy and efficient platform for open enrollment.

Dealing with medium sized businesses, reports and censuses are often created to solve problems.  

Then you can start by sending an email that goes out to employees to select their benefits.

This goes away once you become proficient - but the learning curve can be devastating to agencies as we can lose cases over errors.

I ended up with zero functionality and at each step EASE employees would blame someone else - Sales -Implementation - Development, etc.

Ease is pretty intuitive to set up a new group, or renew benefits, if you are experienced with benefit admin systems.

Ease is a time saver for employee enrollments, for both new hire and open enrollment.  

Less paper, more connectivity with carriers and TPA's has improved tremendously.

Some companies take a long time to establish a connection and everything does not always feed over correctly.

The reports are sometimes missing information during benefit open enrollment.  

Not only is system configuration a breeze, but we find that our clients easily get accustomed to how the system operates as a whole.

The different features and additional benefits have been a fantastic hit with our employees.

I have also not been impressed with the service provided by YourHalo, we had an employee seek their help due to feelings of worry and they were turned away even though this should be covered by YourHalo? Although I have launched a complaint regarding this and the customer service of YuLife in facilitating the complaint has been very good.
