Way better than hotschedules, super easy to understand.
7shifts is easy to monitor, schedule and adapt to growing or declining sales. Super stream lined for any ody to pic up.
The app needs work on the phones. Little buggy when it comes to the management side . Assigning shifts, viewing rosters etc.

I miss the ease and look of Hotschedules, but 7shifts has the potential to be better.
It's easy to use. Scheduling is easy with the templates. Messaging is also a breeze. Nice to have the engagement portion.
Needs "request on" ability in scheduling. GM's need access to all employees, including other management. Reporting could use some more options. The "roles" and "job code" are a pain and get screwed up going from 7shifts to Toast.

The ease of use and the seamless scheduling process and rating system

Overall I'd say I have a positive opinion of 7Shifts and may prefer it over HotSchedules.
We mainly us the software for scheduling, Log Book, and messaging. Employees can set availability and request off as well. The program works fine for these options.
Wish there were more user friendly options available. We had a manager that quit, and even though he was deactivated, he was still receiving notifications from us and schedules.

So far our service has been great. We have rarely had to call for support needs or help.
7shifts not only was easy for our management staff to adjust to after being with Hotschedules for years but they also do not charge our employees for the app. Its a win win, staff and management approved.
I wish there was a way to move from day to day on the app by ways of a calendar instead of scrolling through the dates. Schedules can look a bit squirrely via the app. I'm not sure if this may be an Android thing or just happens on occasion. It generally happens when there are unpublished shifts.

We love 7S and are always excited when new features drop. It's great to work with a product that is always improving. We used HotSchedules before this, and it was such a stagnant product that never changed.
Extremely intuitive with almost zero learning curve. The help widget is amazing, you actually get a quick and helpful response.
I wish task list schedules were more customizable.
