A simple in-app “cancel at end of current term” button, with clear messaging about data retention, would be far more transparent and respectful of customers’ time. If you’re considering JazzHR, be aware that getting in is easy—but getting out is a process.

Request to cancel → reply to a scripted email → choose between full cancel or a $19/month hibernation upsell → confirm you accept their data deletion policy, or your account “remains open” by default.

I have been able to find candidates through job boards that integrate with the system and have been able to track all of the necessary information one place all the way through the hiring process.

Default is continued billing. If you miss a step or don’t respond again, the account just stays open and you keep getting charged.

My low rating is entirely about their cancellation process, which feels unnecessarily difficult and very one-sided in favor of JazzHR.

It was a good experience, it was user friendly and easy to use and adapt to, easy to use as an admin as well and add templates.

The tool is very helpful for a full desk recruiter as they can use its job integrations, ability to report, go over resumes and conduct background checks as well.

The platform's integration with various job boards and its resume parsing capabilities saved us time and allowed us to reach a wider pool of qualified candidates. Although there were some areas for improvement, JazzHR provided a solid foundation for our hiring needs and helped us effectively manage our talent acquisition efforts.

Over time, the product got worse and the price went up. And no additional features were added.

We got hacked and got charged $5,000 in fake job posting.

JazzHR said it was our fault their security wasn't strong enough for the hacking.

For a modern SaaS platform, this is not a customer-friendly experience.

The library of recruiting resources and support to help users understand and navigate the ATS is far better than any other customer support team. While there are limited customization and pricing concerns, using Jazz HR has been a positive experience.

Its reporting features are very basic and may fall short when the recruiter is looking for more insights like industry trends, market salaries and prime locations of talent.

The learning curve can be steep at first considering the amount of features, but with tutorials and time it gets easier.

Reporting  - it's very difficult to pull actionable data from the platform based on how it's collected. If you want to include interviews in your reporting data, all interviews must be scheduled through the platform which we've had issues with, same with offers - to be tracked they need to be sent to the candidate through Jazz. When you clone and repost jobs to keep them at the top of job boards it counts as a separate job and that messes up reporting data.
